1 Crore Youth To Be Provided Jobs In Next 3 Years In UP: Chief Minister

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday laid the foundation stone of a mini stadium at Bholaram Maskara Inter College in Sahjanwa.

"Laying the foundation stone of a mini rural stadium equipped with a multi-sports complex, an athletics track, the audience gallery and the ground to be built at the cost of Rs 10.43 crore at Bholaram Maskara Inter College at Sahjanwa, Gorakhpur, CM Yogi said that the investments to be made in Sahjanwa assembly constituency of Gorakhpur and other places will also enable the youths to get jobs near their homes," the official statement said.

While addressing the public, the chief minister said that the stadium will help nurture sporting talents in the rural areas of Sahjanwa and Gorakhpur.

"Prime Minister Modi gave the slogan of 'Khelo India Khelo' in 2014. Today, the slogan has become a reality. India is winning medals in Olympic Games and Commonwealth Games. Uttar Pradesh is also winning medals in these mega sporting events, with commendable work done by the UP Youth Welfare Department and Basic Education Department," he said.

He also said that a total of one crore youth will get employment in the next three years.

"CM Yogi also said that one crore youths of the state will be provided employment in the next three years through the investment proposals received at the recently held Global Investors Summit in the State," it said.

"CM Yogi further stated that Sahjanwa will have two stadiums, one at Bholaram Maskara Inter College and the other at Atal Residential School. CM Yogi also said that Sahjanwa has witnessed rapid development in recent times with the construction of a railway overbridge and connectivity with a four-lane road," it mentioned.

On the occasion the UP chief minister also announced that government will distribute two crore tablets to college students.

"The government will also distribute two crore tablets and smartphones to students across the state in degree colleges to encourage them. Besides, several new technical and other institutes are being built to prepare the state's youth for the job market. A polytechnic institute will be built here also. Besides, Atal Residential School being built here will be inaugurated soon," it mentioned.

He further stated that Government is aggressively pursuing its development agenda and the drive to deal sternly with anti-social elements threatening the state's security.

"Businessmen and industrialists must have the freedom and security to run their businesses and plants because on the one hand, they promote the growth of the state and on the other they provide employment to its youth," he said.

Gorakhpur MP and film actor Ravi Kishan was also present during the occasion.

Human Foetus Found In School Lab In Madhya Pradesh, Probe Launched

Police have started a probe after a private school in Sagar district was found to be in possession of a human foetus, an official said on Saturday.

A member of the Madhya Pradesh Child Rights Commission has lodged a police complaint against the school, situated in Bina town, in this regard.

MPCRC member Omkar Singh Thakur said that following a complaint, a two-member MPCRC committee on April 6 paid a surprise visit to the school and found that the biology laboratory had a human foetus kept in a jar.

When asked how they got hold of it, the school management could not give a satisfactory answer, he claimed.

While medical colleges have such preserved foetuses, permission is needed for other organisations for keeping them, Mr Thakur said.

Bina police station in-charge Kamal Nigwal said a probe has been started on the basis of the report forwarded by the MPCRC, though no First Information Report has been registered yet.

सिक्किम : पुराने बसे लोगों को कर छूट के विरोध में रैली से पहले वरिष्ठ कार्यकर्ता पर हमला

सिक्किम के सिंगतम में आज हिंसा हुई. सिक्किम में पुराने बसे लोगों को आयकर में छूट के खिलाफ एक विरोध रैली के दौरान एक वरिष्ठ कार्यकर्ता की पिटाई कर दी गई. इसके बाद अधिकारियों ने सीआरपीसी की धारा 144 लागू कर दी. सिक्किम में ज्वाइंट एक्शन काउंसिल (JAC) के नेतृत्व में विरोध प्रदर्शन हो रहे हैं. इस संगठन के महासचिव केशव सपकोटा पर JAC द्वारा आज बुलाई गई रैली से पहले कथित बदमाशों ने हमला किया. इस मामले में अब तक तीन लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया जा चुका है.

विपक्षी राजनीतिक दलों ने अपने विरोधियों के खिलाफ "हिंसा करने" और सीमावर्ती राज्य में राजनीतिक हालात "खराब" करने का आरोप लगाते हुए सत्तारूढ़ सिक्किम क्रांतिकारी मोर्चा (SKM) की आलोचना की है.

सिक्किम डेमोक्रेटिक फ्रंट (SDF), हमरो सिक्किम पार्टी (HSP) और एसकेएम सरकार की सहयोगी बीजेपी ने जेएसी पदाधिकारी पर हमले की निंदा की है.

जेएसी सिक्किम के पुराने निवासियों को आयकर छूट के लिए रास्ता बनाने का विरोध कर रहा है. 13 जनवरी को सुप्रीम कोर्ट के फैसले के साथ लोकसभा में हाल ही में पारित वित्त विधेयक से सिक्किम में पुराने बसे लोगों के आईटी छूट के दायरे का विस्तार हुआ है.

आज विरोध रैली से पहले महासचिव सपकोटा पर बदमाशों ने हमला किया. बाद में उन्हें निकटतम सिंगतम जिला अस्पताल ले जाया गया. हमले से उनकी नाक और सिर में चोटें लगी हैं. बाद में उन्हें गंगटोक के सेंट्रल रेफरल अस्पताल भेज दिया गया.

जेएसी पर हमले के बाद से, सिंगतम शहर में धारा 144 लागू कर दी गई है और विरोध प्रदर्शन बंद कर दिया गया है.

जेएसी पिछले कुछ महीनों से विरोध प्रदर्शन कर रहा था. हाल के वित्त विधेयक के बाद उसने सिक्किम के लोगों को एकजुट करने के लिए विरोध रैली का आह्वान किया था. सरकार से सिक्किमी शब्द को अनुच्छेद 371F के तहत पुराने कानूनों के अनुसार परिभाषित करने की मांग की जा रही है.

One Person Above Country, Courts: Union Minister's Dig At Rahul Gandhi

Taking a swipe at Rahul Gandhi, Union minister Anurag Thakur said on Saturday that for the Congress, one person is above the country, Parliament and courts, and added that even some allies of the opposition party were deserting it due to this attitude.

Talking to reporters here, the Union information and broadcasting minister also targeted Mr Gandhi over a host of Congress leaders, including chief ministers, accompanying him to a court in Gujarat to file an appeal against his conviction in a criminal defamation case.

The fact is that it did not even require his presence to file the appeal, Thakur said and charged that he tried to put pressure on the court.

Following his conviction and two-year jail sentence in the defamation case of 2019 over his Modi surname remark, Mr Gandhi was disqualified from Lok Sabha last month.

Mr Gandhi should have apologised for insulting the backward classes but he chose otherwise and his arrogance has come to the fore once again, Thakur said.

For the Congress, one person is above the country, Parliament and courts. Even the allies of the Congress were leaving them due to this attitude, Mr Thakur claimed.

He said his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) fights every election under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the people of Himachal Pradesh will ensure its victory in all four Lok Sabha seats in the state in the upcoming elections.

He listed various central projects in Bilaspur such as the premier healthcare facility AIIMS.

The Union minister said Rs 1,000 crore has been released this year for the Bhanupali-Bilaspur rail line.

पीएम मोदी ने अपने ट्वीट में इस पार्टी कार्यकर्ता की तारीफ करते हुए लिखा है कि ये एक खास सेल्फी है... मैं चेन्नई में बीजेपी तमिलनाडु के कार्यकर्ता थिरु एस मणिकंदन से मिला. वह कर्नाटक के इरोड के रहने वाले हैं. और बतौर बूथ अध्यक्ष के तौर पर पार्टी के लिए काम करते हैं. थिरु एस मणिकंदन दिव्यांग हैं लेकिन वह अपनी एक दुकान भी चलाते हैं.  इतना ही नहीं, खास बात ये है कि वह इस दुकान से रोजाना जो मुनाफा होता है उसका एक हिस्सा बीजेपी को देते हैं!

गौरतलब है कि पीएम मोदी ने अपने दक्षिण राज्यों के दौरान विपक्ष पर भी जमकर हमला बोल रहे हैं. उन्होंने शनिवार को तेलंगाना में दिए अपने संबोधन में कहा कि कुछ राजनीतिक पार्टियां तो सुप्रीम कोर्ट चली गई थीं और मांग की थी कि केंद्रीय एजेंसियां उनके भ्रष्टाचार की जो जांच कर रही है उन्हें रोक दिया जाए. लेकिन कोर्ट से भी उन्हें झटका ही मिला. बता दें कि कुछ दिन पहले कांग्रेस समेत 14 विपक्षी पार्टियों ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में एक याचिका दायर करके आरोप लगाया गया था कि विपक्षी नेताओं और असहमति के अपने मौलिक अधिकार का प्रयोग करने वाले अन्य नागरिकों के खिलाफ जबरदस्ती आपराधिक प्रक्रियाओं के उपयोग में खतरनाक बढ़ोतरी देखने में आई है. ये सही नहीं है. 

पीएम मोदी ने अपने संबोधन के दौरान केसीआर पर भी जमकर निशाना साधा. उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार से कोई सहयोग नहीं मिल रहा है. पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि केंद्र की राजग सरकार तेलंगाना के नागरिकों के सपनों को साकार करना अपना कर्तव्य समझती है. तेलंगाना पूरे देश में रेलवे के आधुनिकीकरण के लिए किए जा रहे प्रयासों का लाभ पा रहा है.

दिल्ली पुलिस ने लॉज में कारोबारी की हत्या की गुत्थी सुलझाई, हनी ट्रैप का एंगल आया सामने

दिल्ली पुलिस ने सफदरजंग एनक्लेव केे बलजीत लॉज में कारोबारी की हत्या की गुत्थी सुलझा ली है. दिल्ली पुलिस की अपराध शाखा ने इस मामले में पानीपत की रहने वाली 29 साल की महिला उषा उर्फ अंजलि उर्फ निक्की को नोएडा से गिरफ्तार किया है. उषा अपनी साथी महिला मधुमिता के साथ इस गिरोह को चला रही थी. पुलिस के मुताबिक दोनों हनी ट्रेप में फंसाकर लोगों से दोस्ती करतीं और फिर होटल में ले जाकर पीड़ित को शराब में नशीला पदार्थ पिला देते. जब पीड़ित बेहोश जाता तो ये कैश और गहने लेकर फरार हो जातीं थीं. 

क्राइम ब्रांच के स्पेशल सीपी रविन्द्र यादव के मुताबिक, सफदरजंग एनक्लेव इलाके की बलजीत लॉज में मयूर विहार के रहने वाले 53 साल के दीपक सेठी का शव 31 मार्च को मिला था. कारोबारी दीपक सेठी यहां पर एक अंजलि नाम की महिला के साथ 30 मार्च को रात 9ः30 बजे आए थे. महिला रात 12ः24 बजे चली गई थी और दीपक के 1100 रुपये और ज्वैलरी ले गई. सफदरजंग एनक्लेव में हत्या का मामला दर्ज किया गया. 

सफदरजंग एनक्लेव थाने में तैनात इंक्पेक्टर सतीश लोहिया और एसआई दीपक तंवर को पता लगा कि अंजलि नाम की महिला ने लॉज में फर्जी आधार कार्ड जमा कराया है. अपराध शाखा के विशेष पुलिस आयुक्त रविंद्र सिंह यादव ने जांच के लिए शाखा में तैनात एसीपी नरेश सोलंकी की देखरेख में इंस्पेक्टर विजयपाल दहिया, एसआई राजेश बैसोया और एएसआई विजूमोन की टीम को लगाया. इस टीम को पता लगा कि आरोपी महिला लॉज से वापस वैगनआर कार से गई है. इंस्पेक्टर विजय पाल दहिया की टीम ने दीपक के मोबाइल पर किए गए करीब 500 कॉल्स की डिटेल खंगाली.

जांच में पता चला कि एक नंबर फर्जी आईडी से 20 मार्च को शुरू किया गया है. ये मोबाइल दिल्ली के संतगढ़ से 23 मार्च को नाइजीरियन नागरिक चिडे ने रिचार्ज करवाया था. इससे आरोपी महिला उषा की सहेली मधुमिता का नंबर मिल गया. इसके बाद पुलिस टीम ने पानीपत निवासी उषा उर्फ निक्की को नोएडा से गुरुवार शाम को गिरफ्तार कर लिया. उसके कब्जे से पीड़ित का बैग, अंगूठी, फर्जी आधार कार्ड और वारदात में इस्तेमाल किया गया मोबाइल फोन बरामद हुआ. 

पुलिस को जांच में पता लगा कि उषा 2022 में चोरी के मामले में जेल गई थी. जेल में उसकी मुलाकात मधुमिता से हुई. जेल से बाहर आने पर दोनों दिल्ली के संतगढ़ में रहने लगीं. दीपक की मधुमिता से सोशल मीडिया पर बात हुई थी. दोस्ती होने पर दोनों ने नंबर शेयर कर लिए. मधुमिता ने उषा को दीपक के साथ लूटपाट करने के लिए बोला था. आरोपी उषा  ने बताया कि उसकी मंशा दीपक को मारने की नहीं थी, उसे मधुमिता ने बताया था कि दीपक के पास हमेशा 40 से 60 हजार होते हैं. उसे लगा कि दीपक के पास 60 हजार से एक लाख रुपये मिल जाएंगे, मगर उसे दीपक के पास 1100 रुपये ही मिले थे. उसे मधुमिता लॉज के नीचे ओला कैब लेकर आई थी. इसके बाद वह मधुमिता के साथ फरार हो गई. 

उषा ने पूछताछ में खुलासा किया है कि उसे दीपक सेठी बातचीत में अच्छे इंसान लगे. इस कारण वह दीपक के साथ लूटपाट नहीं करना चाहती थी, मगर मजबूरी में उसने ऐसा किया. इस कारण वह बैग पर लिखकर गई थी कि ‘आप एक नाइस पर्सन हैं, सॉरी सॉरी सॉरी, मेरी बहुत ज्यादा मजबूरी थी इसलिए आप के साथ ऐसा किया है एक्सट्रीमली सॉरी‘ उसकी मंशा दीपक को मारने की नहीं बल्कि नशीला पदार्थ पिलाकर सिर्फ लूटपाट करने की थी.

Congress Expecting Over 130 Seats: Siddaramaiah Ahead Of Karnataka Polls

Karnataka Leader of Opposition (LoP) and Congress leader Siddaramaiah on Friday said that the upcoming Karnataka Assembly elections is going to be his last electoral battle and he will retire from politics.

Talking to ANI, Siddaramaiah said, "I am contesting from Varuna assembly constituency as my native village comes under this constituency. This is going to be my last election. I will retire from electoral politics."

Siddaramaiah further added that he will still be in active politics but after this election he won't accept any posts which will be in Delhi.

"I am contesting from Varuna (assembly constituency) as it has been cleared by the party's high command. It's not that I am interested to contest but Kolar people want me to contest from there", he said.

Siddaramaiah said that Congress is expecting more than 130 seats this time.

"We are expecting more than 130 seats this time and Congress Party will come to power with a comfortable majority on its own. People have decided to change the government", he added.

He also slammed at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and Union Home Minister Amit Shah and said, "Basavaraj Bommai miserably failed to protect the interest of Kannadigas. He has no business to continue as CM. Modi and Shah are coming to Karnataka to get votes and claim it's a double-engine government but Maharashtra government is blatantly interfering with the freedom of the state."

Siddaramaiah also added that he treats all human beings equally and not based on which community they identify with.

"BJP is a sectarian party. Ours is a secular party. There can't be any disparity among the people of Karnataka. I treat all human beings equally whether they belong to Hindu, Muslim, Christian, or any other community or religion, I treat them all equally", he said.

Siddaramaiah said that there are no differences between him and Karnataka Congress president DK Shivakumar.

"My relationship with DK Shivakumar is cordial. There are no differences between us. Of course, differences exist in democracy but it is not detrimental to the interests of the party", LoP added.

Siddaramaiah also hit out at the state government's decision to ban reservation of Muslims in the state and said "Recategorising (of reservation) is not proper, not constitutional. It is not valid... We've no objection to increasing the reservation of Vokkaliga & Lingayat but why you abolished the reservation of Muslims... It clearly shows vendetta, hate politics."

Congress on Thursday announced its second list of 42 candidates, for the Karnataka assembly elections but no decision has yet been taken on who would contest from Kolar even as Siddaramaiah has expressed a desire to contest from the constituency.

According to sources, the Congress top brass has asked Siddaramaiah to contest from his traditional stronghold of Varuna in the Mysuru district, where his son doctor Yatindra Siddaramaiah won in the 2018 Assembly Elections.

Sources said that earlier, amid disagreementsbetween the party's local leaders in Kolar, the Congress High Command had instructed the 75-year-old former chief minister to drop his plan to contest from the Kolar assembly segment

The Congress has also accommodated candidates who switched to the party from the BJP and the Janata Dal (Secular). The party is seeking to wrest power from BJP in the state in the upcoming polls.

Meanwhile, former minister Vinay Kulkarni who has been named by Congress as its candidate from Dharwad constituency will have to campaign remotely since the Supreme Court has barred his entry into the district after the CBI named him in connection with the 2016 murder case of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker, Yogeeshgouda Goudar.

Kulkarni has been out on bail on the condition that he will not enter the district nor will do anything to tamper with the evidence in the murder case.

Kulkarni was allegedly involved in connection with the murder of Goudar, on June 15, 2016, after he defeated the rival Congress party candidate in the Zila Panchayat elections.

On Tuesday, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that the party will conduct an extensive discussion on candidates for the remaining 100 seats in the State.

The Congress had on March 25 announced its first list of 124 candidates for the polls, which included names of former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and State Party president DK Shivakumar.

Elections are slated to be held in Karnataka in a single phase on May 10, and the counting of votes will take place on May 13.

Karnataka, which has 224 seats in the Assembly currently has 119 MLAs of the ruling BJP, while Congress has 75 and its ally JD(S) has 28 seats.

Political parties in the State including the ruling BJP, Congress and ally JD(S) are engaged in a spate of allegations and counter-allegations, with the latter attempting to corner the government over the issue of corruption.

Notably, while the opposition Congress and Janata Dal Secular have announced 166 and 93 candidates respectively so far, the ruling BJP is yet to announce its first list of candidates for the 224-seat assembly elections in Karnataka.

The model code of conduct had come into effect after elections were announced in the State.

दिल्ली में चीनी ऐप के जरिए ब्लैकमेलिंग और ठगी, 18 आरोपी गिरफ्तार

चीनी ऐप के जरिए लोन देने के नाम पर ठगी और ब्लैकमेलिंग करने वाले एक बड़े गैंग का उत्तरी दिल्ली पुलिस ने भंडाफोड़ किया है. यह ठगी एक फर्जी कॉल सेंटर के जरिए की जा रही थी. पुलिस ने कॉल सेंटर में छापेमारी कर 18 लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है. पुलिस ने मुताबिक आरोपी लोगों को इस कदर तंग करते थे कि ब्लैकमेल करने के लिए उन्होंने एक शख्स को उसी की बेटी का न्यूड फोटो भेज दिया.

उत्तरी दिल्ली पुलिस के डीसीपी सागर सिंह कलसी के मुताबिक कॉल सेंटर चलाने वालों ने अब तक सैकड़ों लोगों से लोन के नाम पर अवैध वसूली की है. इस मामले में दिल्ली के संगम विहार में चल रहे एक कॉल सेंटर के 18 कर्मचारियों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है. यह आरोपी DIOSCLES लोन ऐप के जरिए लोगों को धोखे देते थे. वे लोन देने के नाम पर दूसरों के नाम और डेटा का गलत इस्तेमाल करते थे. 

दरअसल उत्तरी दिल्ली के साइबर थाने में एक गृह मंत्रालय के साइबर क्राइम रिपोर्टिंग पोर्टल से एक शिकायत मिली. दिल्ली के मजनू का टीला सिविल लाइन के नरेश भाटी ने अपनी शिकायत में बताया कि उनके मोबाइल पर एक महिला ने कॉल किया. महिला ने उन्हें धमकाया कि उनकी बेटी ने 3500 रुपये का लोन लिया है, जिसे आपको लिंक के माध्यम से जमा करना होगा, अन्यथा आपकी बेटी की न्यूड फोटो वायरल हो जाएगी. 

इसके बाद किसी ने उनकी बेटी की न्यूड फोटो बनाकर उनके व्हाट्सऐप नंबर पर भेज दी. उनकी बेटी के लिए आपत्तिजनक शब्द भी इस्तेमाल किए. इस शिकायत के बाद साइबर पुलिस ने जांच शुरू की. कॉल डिटेल रिकॉर्ड्स और मनी ट्रेल की तकनीकी जानकारी जुटाने के बाद उस नंबर का पता लगाया जिससे कॉल की जाती थी. वह फोन दिल्ली के संगम विहार इलाके से चल रहा था. 

पांच अप्रैल को संगम विहार में छापा मारा गया और एक लड़की रेणु को गिरफ्तार किया गया. उसने बताया कि वह कॉल सेंटर में काम कर रही है, जो दिल्ली के ईस्ट ऑफ़ कैलाश में स्थित है. लड़की द्वारा दी गई जानकारी के बाद तत्काल टीम ने छापा मारा. वहां कॉल सेंटर चलता हुआ मिला जिसमें उस समय लगभग 50 लोग काम कर रहे थे. 

स्टाफ से पूछताछ करने पर पता चला कि कई बहुत सारे कर्मचारी चीनी लोन ऐप कंपनी में काम कर रहे थे. कुल 18 लोग जो चीनी ऐप पर लोन देने का काम करते थे, उन्हें मौके से गिरफ्तार किया गया. टीम मैनेजर अमित दिल्ली के सरिता विहार का रहने वाला है. उसे भी गिरफ्तार किया गया है. 

जांच के दौरान मैनेजर ने बताया कि लगभग तीन साल पहले उसकी मोहसिन खान से मुलाकात हुई थी. वह कई कॉल सेंटरों में काम कर चुका था. दोनों ने चीनी लोन ऐप का कॉल सेंटर शुरू किया. मोहसिन खान और उसकी महिला दोस्त फिरदौस इन फर्जी चीनी एप्स के लिए लॉगिन आईडी और पासवर्ड जुटाती थी. कॉल सेंटर के कर्मचारी VOIP सिम बॉक्स गेटवे के माध्यम से कॉल करते थे, जो कि मोहसिन ने इंस्टॉल किए थे. वे उसे रोज बदलते रहते थे ताकि पुलिस की कार्रवाई से बचा जा सके. 

लोन का भुगतान चीनी ऐप के दिए गए लिंक पर किया जाता था और मोहसिन अपने ऊपर बैठे आकाओं से अपना कमीशन का हिस्सा प्राप्त करता था. पुलिस ने इस छापेमारी के दौरान डाटा सर्वर को अपने कब्जे में लेकर सारा डाटा अपने पास संरक्षित कर लिया. यदि पुलिस की कार्रवाई में देरी हो जाती तो यह साइबर अपराधी इस सारे डाटा को पुलिस से बचने के लिए नष्ट कर सकते थे. मोहसिन और फिरदोश की तलाश में नार्थ डिस्ट्रिक्ट साइबर थाने की टीम पंजाब में दबिश दे रही है. पुलिस ने कॉल सेंटर से 54 कम्प्यूटर और 19 मोबाइल फोन बरामद किए हैं.

Probe Begins Into Congress Leader's Illegal Phone Cloning Complaint

Kerala police on Friday began an investigation into a complaint filed by AICC general secretary K C Venugopal which said that hackers had illegally cloned his mobile number and made fraudulent calls with ulterior motives. Mr Venugopal had on Wednesday posted a copy of his complaint on Twitter, saying hackers were using caller ID spoofing to make spam calls from his cloned phone number.

In his complaint filed with the state police chief, the senior Congress leader referred to instances where two persons allegedly received such illegal phone calls. The DGP then forwarded the complaint to the Kochi city police commissioner.

Kochi City Police Commissioner K Sethu Raman told PTI that the district cyber cell had begun a probe based on Venugopal's complaint.

He said it was possible for hackers use certain applications to clone one's phone and engage in fraudulent activities.

Mr Venugopal has alleged that persons unknown to him had been contacting certain individuals from cloned SIM cards impersonating himself or someone from his staff "for ulterior motives and/or duping individuals of their money." "It is absolutely necessary that appropriate legal proceedings, including criminal investigation under the prevailing laws, are initiated forthwith against the said unidentified persons so that they are unable to cause any harm," he said.

Anti-Terror Agency Arrests Man In Chennai Over Attempt To Revive LTTE

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has seized a huge cache of cash, gold and drugs, and has arrested one person in connection with the Indo-Sri Lankan illegal drugs, arms trade and hawala racket case aimed at the revival of Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), the agency said on Friday.

The anti-terror agency conducted searches on Thursday, at the Chennai residential and business premises of eight suspects in the case.

During the searches, it seized a huge cache of cash, gold bars, digital devices (mobile phones, memory cards), drugs and documents, along with other incriminating material.

The agency has also arrested one person during the raids. He has been identified as Ayyappan Nandhu. This took the number of total arrests in the Tamil Nadu case to 14.

As per NIA, Nandhu has been found to be managing the drug trade on behalf of Muhammed Asmin, a Sri Lankan refugee and a drug trafficker who had conspired with other accused to revive LTTE through drugs and arms trade.

Other 13 people were arrested earlier in December 2022 as part of raids conducted in 21 locations in Tamil Nadu following the registration of the case by the NIA in July 2022. The earlier raids had included the accommodation allotted to nine accused in Special Detention Camp, Trichy.

"Investigations into the case have shown that the proceeds of drugs and arms trade in Sri Lanka were received in India through Hawala agents, including one Shahid Ali of Chennai," said the NIA.

It was further found that the Hawala transactions to obtain the process of Drugs and Arms trade were done through hotels and businesses based in Mannadi, Chennai, said the agency.

Thursday's seizure included Rs 68 lakh Indian currency and 1,000 Singapore Dollars, nine Gold Biscuits (total 300 gram) from the shop of Shahid Ali.

The NIA has also recovered Rs 12 Lakhs in Indian currency from the Hotel - Orange Palace at Chennai.

उम्मीद हैं कि चीनी प्रशासन भारतीय पत्रकारों की मौजूदगी को सुगम बनाये रखेगा: विदेश मंत्रालय

भारत ने बृहस्पतिवार को उम्मीद जतायी कि चीनी प्रशासन अपने देश में भारतीय पत्रकारों की मौजूदगी को सुगम बनाना जारी रखेगा. विदेश मंत्रालय के प्रवक्ता अरिंदम बागची की यह टिप्पणी ऐसे समय में आई है जब चीन ने कुछ ही दिन पहले भारत के दो पत्रकारों के वीजा पर रोक लगाने का निर्णय किया है.

बागची ने इस बारे में एक सवाल के जवाब में कहा कि भारत में चीन के ऐसे कई पत्रकार हैं जिन्हें पत्रकारिता संबंधी कार्य करने के लिए भारतीय वीजा दिया गया है. उन्होंने कहा, ‘‘इस नजरिये से हमें उनके (चीनी पत्रकारों के) रिपोर्टिंग करने में कोई कठिनाई नहीं दिखाई देती है."

विदेश मंत्रालय के प्रवक्ता ने कहा कि जहां तक भारतीय पत्रकारों के चीन में काम करने का विषय है, ‘‘हम उम्मीद करते हैं कि चीनी प्रशासन अपने देश में भारतीय पत्रकारों की मौजूदगी और वहां से रिपोर्टिंग करना सुगम बनाना जारी रखेगा.'' उन्होंने कहा, ‘‘ हम इस संबंध में चीनी प्रशासन के सम्पर्क में हैं.''

बहरहाल, चीन ने अपने पत्रकारों की सुविधा को लेकर भारत से सहूलियत मांगी है. हालांकि, उसने दो भारतीय संवाददाताओं के वीजा पर रोक लगाने के हाल के कदम का बचाव किया है. चीन के विदेश मंत्रालय ने मंगलवार के सूचित किया कि समाचार पत्र‘‘द हिन्दू'' के चीन स्थित संवाददाता अनंत कृष्णन और बीजिंग स्थित प्रसार भारती संवाददाता अंशुमन मिश्रा के वीजा पर रोक लगायी जाती है जो अभी छुट्टी पर भारत में हैं और अगले आदेश तक लौट नहीं सकते.

चीन द्वारा दो भारतीय पत्रकारों के वीजा को निलंबित करनेके बारे में पूछे जाने पर चीनी विदेश मंत्रालय की प्रवक्ता माओ निंग ने कहा कि काफ समय से चीनी पत्रकारों के साथ भारत में भेदभावपूर्ण व्यवहार किया जाता है. चीनी प्रवक्ता ने दावा किया, ‘‘2017 में भारत ने चीनी पत्रकारों की वीजा अवधि को तीन माह से घटाकर एक माह कर दिया. भारत ने चीनी पत्रकारों को भारत में जाने की अनुमति मांगने वाले आवेदनों को नकार दिया.''

ISRO Successfully Completes Engine Test For Human Spaceflight Programme

ISRO on Thursday said it had completed the final long-duration hot test of human-rated L110-G Vikas engine for the planned qualification duration of 240 seconds, marking a major milestone in the journey towards the launch of the Gaganyaan human spaceflight programme.

The test was carried out at the ISRO Propulsion Complex (IPRC), Mahendragiri, Tamil Nadu.

"With this test all the planned qualification tests of the engine are completed successfully," ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation), the Bengaluru-headquartered national space agency said in a statement.

The air-lit liquid core stage of the human-rated launch vehicle (LVM3-G) uses two L110-G Vikas engines in clustered configuration. The design and realisation of L110 stage for Gaganyaan was carried out at the Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC), and assembly and integration and testing were done at IPRC. The Engine Gimbal Control system was developed by Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC).

The Vikas engine uses storable propellants in a pump-fed gas generator cycle.

The human-rated Vikas engine has higher structural margins for sub-systems, improved assembly process and additional measurements for health monitoring. The development hot tests it was subjected to were conducted in a step-by-step manner at the Principal Test Stand, IPRC, the release said.

Nine engines had undergone 14 hot tests with a cumulative duration of 1,215 seconds, including four long-duration tests of 240 seconds each.

Drawn from the extensive legacy and experience of liquid rocket engine development, the test campaign envelopes extreme operating durations, off-nominal mixture ratios and thrust level conditions as compared to flight operating conditions, ISRO said.

Four sets of hardware used for this test programme were fabricated at various Indian industries.

Electro-mechanical Gimbal actuators and Command System module for engine pilot pressure control, with multiple redundancies were also qualified in the test. ISRO could complete the human-rated L110-G Vikas engine qualification within a short span of three years, it added

Jharkhand Man Gets Death Penalty For Murdering Family, Tutor

A court in Jharkhand's East Singhbhum district on Thursday sentenced a man to death for murdering his wife, two minor daughters and their private tutor inside his house in Kadma locality here two years ago.

The man, who is in his early 40s, also raped the tutor and tried to kill his business partner who managed to flee.

Additional District and Sessions Judge-IV Rajendra Kumar Sinha convicted Deepak Kumar, a fire brigade employee of a private company here, last week and pronounced the quantum of punishment on Thursday.

He was sentenced under various IPC sections including 302 (murder), 307 (attempt to murder), 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of offence) and 376(1) (rape).

The court also fined Kumar Rs 50,000 which would go to the family of the tutor.

He killed his wife Bina Kumar, daughters Divya and Sandhi and the private tutor using a hammer on April 12, 2021. However, his plan was to eliminate his business partner whom he thought cheated him of lakhs of rupees.

Kumar had fled after committing the crime but the police arrested him from Dhanbad after a few days.

मुंबई में कोरोना वायरस संक्रमित मरीजों की संख्या बढ़ने के कारण कोविड वॉर रूम फिर एक्टिव हो गए हैं. मुंबई में 50 प्रतिशत कोविड मरीज ऑक्सीजन सपोर्ट पर हैं. पॉजिटिविटी रेट 11 प्रतिशत से ऊपर है. ऐसे में सभी वार्डों के कोविड वॉर रूम अलर्ट पर हैं. बूस्टर डोज और टेस्टिंग से लोगों की हिचक दूर करना बड़ी चुनौती है. 

मुंबई शहर के हर वॉर्ड में कोविड वॉर रूम फिर से एक्टिव हो गए हैं. कोविड बेड मैनेजमेंट, पेशेंट काउंसलिंग वगैरह सारा जिम्मा यही वॉर रूम संभालते हैं. फ़िलहाल बिना लक्षणों वाले मरीज़ ज़्यादा हैं. 

बीएमसी के एफ साउथ वॉर्ड की मेडिकल ऑफिसर डॉ वैशाली खाड़े ने कहा कि,‘'दस में से छह मरीज असिम्पटोमेटिक हैं. दोनों जगह स्लम और नॉन स्लम से मरीज आ रहे हैं.''

मुंबई में कोविड पॉजिटिविटी रेट 11 प्रतिशत से ऊपर है. लोगों में कोरोना टेस्टिंग को लेकर हिचक है. इस वजह से टेस्टिंग कम है और पॉजिटिविटी ज़्यादा दिखती है. शहर की 15 फीसदी जनसंख्या ने ही बूस्टर डोज़ ली है. यह भी बीएमसी के सामने बड़ी चुनौती है. 

असिस्टेंट मेडिकल ऑफिसर डॉ जुनैद शेख ने कहा कि,‘'टेस्टिंग में हिचक है, मना रहे हैं. बूस्टर डोज के लिए भी काउंसलिंग कर रहे हैं.''

 दस दिनों के भीतर देश में कोविड पॉजिटिविटी रेट दोगुना हो गया है, वहीं एक्टिव मामलों में करीब ढाई गुना की बढ़ोतरी हुई है. गुरुवार को देश में पांच हजार से ज़्यादा कोरोना के मामले रिपोर्ट हुए.

दो अप्रैल को 3824  मामले रिपोर्ट हुए थे और 6 अप्रैल तक यह बढ़ते-बढ़ते 5,335 पर पहुंच गए. यानी पांच दिनों में ही 40 प्रतिशत का उछाल आया. 

ILBS के डायरेक्टर डॉ एसके सरीन ने कहा कि, ‘'अभी जो वेरिएंट है वो उतना घातक नहीं है. अस्पताल में दाखिले बढ़े हैं पर मृत्यु दर ज्यादा नहीं है. XBB.1.16 वेरिएंट अभी है. वह जल्दी स्प्रेड करता है, बहुत इनफेक्टिव है.''

ज़्यादातर कम लक्षण वाले मरीज ही रिपोर्ट हो रहे हैं लेकिन इन सबके बीच महाराष्ट्र में बीते 16 दिनों में 23 मौतें और मुंबई शहर में कुल मरीज़ों में से 50% मरीज़ों का ऑक्सीजन सपोर्ट पर होना साफ़ ज़ाहिर करता है कि सावधानी ज़रूरी है.

Cabinet Approves 'Indian Space Policy 2023' Which Will Boost ISRO Missions

The Union Cabinet on Thursday approved the Indian Space Policy, 2023 under which roles and responsibilities of organisations such as ISRO, NewSpace India Limited and private sector entities have been laid down.

The government had earlier opened up the space sector for the private sector to help boost development of the segment.

"In brief, it will offer clarity in the role of the components set up (in the recent past)," Union minister Jitendra Singh told reporters here.

He said the policy will aim to enhance the role of Department of Space, boost activities of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) missions and give a larger participation of research, academia, startups and industry.

Uttar Pradesh To Crackdown On Real Estate Defaulters, To Recover Rs 503 Crore

The Gautam Buddh Nagar district administration has said it will launch a crackdown on real estate defaulters from Friday, noting that over Rs 500 crore are to be recovered from developers against whom the Uttar Pradesh real estate authority has issued notices.

District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma, who took charge last month, said "munaadi" (beat of drum) will be carried out against the builders over the next two days for the recovery of dues towards the Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA).

After this, the defaulters would be further "named and shamed" and coercive action -- including attachment and auction of their properties -- will follow in accordance with the law, Mr Verma told reporters.

According to officials, the total amount of dues for which recovery certificates (RCs) have been issued is over Rs 1,700 crore but the "recoverable" amount is Rs 503 crore since seven to eight builders have gone for insolvency through the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT).

"There are over 1,700 RCs and the amount of recoverable dues is more than Rs 500 crore. We are currently not working on the RCs which are under litigation or have been stayed by some court. We have details of all defaulter builders and take action for recovery, starting with 'munaadi' against them," Verma said.

He said the administration has already taken action in some cases, sealed properties of defaulters and will now investigate their cases afresh, attach the properties and auction their assets to recover the dues.

"Our ultimate objective is to swiftly bring back the hard-earned money of the common man which has been stuck with the builder. This whole plan of action is to increase pressure on the defaulters and they return the money of the common man soon," the IAS officer said.

He said there are over 100 builders who are defaulters - 28 in Sadar tehsil and 73 in Dadri tehsil.

In a stern message to defaulters, DM Verma said, "The UP RERA has issued the RCs after due hearings and there is no way to escape it. The district administration appeals the defaulters to return the money of common man or else we are going to take strict action in future." Additional DM (finance and revenue) Vandita Srivastava said these RCs are from UP RERA only and not the local Noida Authority or the Greater Noida Authority.

"Ever since the RERA was formed in May 2018, the district administration has been getting 150 to 200 RCs on an average every month. Till date, the total number of RCs received are 4,571, totaling around Rs 1,728 crore," Vandita Srivastava said.

"Action has been taken on these RCs at the tehsil levels from 2018 to present day, excluding the period of peak COVID-19 pandemic from March 2020 to February 2022 during which no coercive action was taken against builders in compliance with a court order," she said.

Ms Srivastava said that last year the district administration managed to recover over Rs 200 crore of the RERA's RCs from the defaulters, while the overall recoveries done since 2018 is around Rs 365 crore.

During last year, several defaulting builders also reached a settlement with homebuyers in cases totaling an amount of over Rs 344 crore, the ADM said.

"Now we are going to further sharpen our efforts in recovering the dues through this campaign against defaulters," Vandita Srivastava told reporters.

India Elected To UN Statistical Commission For 4-Year Period

In a significant victory, India has overwhelmingly been elected to the UN Statistical Commission for a four-year period in a "competitive" election in which China and South Korea are still vying for the remaining seat from the Asia Pacific category.

India secured an overwhelming 46 out of 53 votes. A second candidate is yet to be decided between South Korea and China and the balloting process will resume later in the day for electing the remaining Asia Pacific States member.

India was elected by secret ballot while Argentina, Sierra Leone, Slovenia, Ukraine, the United Republic of Tanzania and the United States of America were elected by acclamation for a four-year term of office beginning January 1, 2024.

"India elected to the highest UN statistical body for a 4-year term beginning on 1 January 2024! Congrats Team @IndiaUNNewYork for coming through so strongly in a competitive election," External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said in a tweet on Wednesday.

He added that India's "expertise in the field of statistics, diversity & demography has earned it a seat on the UN Statistical Commission." The current members from the Asia-Pacific States are Japan (2024), Samoa (2024) as well as Kuwait and the Republic of Korea, whose terms are ending this year.

The United Nations Statistical Commission, established in 1947, is the highest body of the global statistical system bringing together the Chief Statisticians from member states from around the world.

It is the highest decision-making body for international statistical activities, responsible for setting of statistical standards and the development of concepts and methods, including their implementation at the national and international levels.

The Commission consists of 24 member countries of the United Nations elected by the United Nations Economic and Social Council on the basis of equitable geographical distribution.

Five members are from African States, four from Asia-Pacific States, four from Eastern European States, four from Latin American and Caribbean States and seven members from Western European and other States.

"मंत्री जी भाग गए", गिरिराज सिंह से मुलाकात नहीं होने पर टीएमसी प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने लगाया आरोप

तृणमूल कांग्रेस के सांसदों के एक प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने अभिषेक बनर्जी के नेतृत्व मे बुधवार को केंद्रीय मंत्री गिरिराज सिंह से मुलाकात करने और पश्चिम बंगाल में श्रमिकों के लिए लंबित महात्मा गांधी राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण रोजगार गारंटी अधिनियम (मनरेगा) कोष का मुद्दा उठाने का प्रयास किया. लेकिन  प्रतिनिधिमंडल की मुलाकात गिरिराज सिंह से नहीं हो पाई. मंत्री से मुलाकात नहीं होने के बाद मीडिया से बात करते हुए अभिषेक बनर्जी ने कहा कि हमें उनकी अनुपस्थिति का कोई उचित कारण नहीं बताया गया.  ऐसा लगता है कि मंत्री के पास हमारे सवाल का जवाब नहीं है. इसलिए उन्होंने आसान रास्ता चुना और भाग निकले.

बनर्जी ने पत्रकारों से बातचीत में कहा, ‘‘हम बंगाल के 17 लाख परिवारों को भाजपा के हाथों उनके अधिकार से वंचित नहीं होने देंगे. जब तक मनरेगा फंड जारी नहीं किया जाता, तब तक हम अपनी आवाज उठाते रहेंगे. आश्वासन के बिना, हम नहीं छोड़ेंगे. हम यहां चाय और नाश्ते के लिए नहीं आए हैं.'' उन्होंने कहा कि पार्टी नेताओं ने मंत्री से बात की थी और उन्हें बुधवार को उनसे मिलने के लिए कहा गया था. बनर्जी ने कहा, ‘‘मुझे बताया गया कि वह आज संसद गए हैं. हम यहां तब आए जब संसद की कार्यवाही स्थगित हो गई. हम 10-12 दिनों तक इंतजार करेंगे और अगर वह कोष जारी नहीं करते हैं तो हम सड़कों पर उतरेंगे.''एक ट्वीट कर भी टीएमसी की तरफ से बीजेपी पर हमला बोला गया है.

तृणमूल कांग्रेस के प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने ग्रामीण विकास मंत्रालय के अधिकारियों के साथ बैठक के बाद इस मुद्दे पर एक ज्ञापन भी सौंपा. ज्ञापन में कहा गया है कि 12 मई, 2022 को पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी को पत्र लिखकर विभिन्न केंद्रीय योजनाओं के तहत राज्य के बकाये पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया था. इसमें कहा गया है कि इस विषय पर एक और पत्र नौ जून 2022 को लिखा गया था.

इसके बाद, तृणमूल सांसदों के एक प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने इस मुद्दे पर 16 जून, 2022 को मंत्री से मुलाकात की थी.ज्ञापन में कहा गया है, ‘‘हमें आपको सूचित करते हुए खेद हो रहा है कि बार-बार अपील के बावजूद बंगाल को बकाया राशि का भुगतान नहीं किया गया है. अप्रैल 2023 तक, मनरेगा, पीएमजीएसवाई, पीएमएवाई (जी) और एनएसएपी जैसी विभिन्न योजनाओं के तहत बंगाल का बकाया लगभग 12,300 करोड़ रुपये है.

पार्टी ने यह भी कहा कि मनरेगा संसद के एक अधिनियम द्वारा गारंटीयुक्त एक अधिकार है और केंद्र सरकार कार्य दिवस को मंजूरी न देकर और भुगतान में देरी करके लोगों के अधिकारों को रोक नहीं सकती है. ज्ञापन में कहा गया कि केंद्र सरकार को आवास योजना के तहत देय सभी धनराशि जारी करने की भी आवश्यकता है ताकि बंगाल को अब अपने लोगों के जीवन स्तर में सुधार करने में किसी भी बाधा का सामना न करना पड़े और पर्याप्त आवास सुविधाएं प्रदान की जा सके.

इसमें कहा गया है, ‘‘हम आपसे मनरेगा अधिनियम की धारा 27 को रद्द करने और बंगाल को बकाया राशि जारी करने के लिए तत्काल कार्रवाई करने का आग्रह करते हैं. इसके अलावा, 2022-23 और 2023-24 (बंगाल के लिए) के श्रम बजट में आपकी तत्काल कार्रवाई की आवश्यकता है. यह 1.4 करोड़ सक्रिय वेतन भोगियों की दुर्दशा को दूर करने और यह सुनिश्चित करने में एक लंबा रास्ता तय करेगा कि बंगाल में गरीब परिवार अपने काम के अधिकार को न खोएं.''

Indian Navy's Marine Commando Dies During Training Exercise

A marine commando from the Indian Navy's special forces died during a training exercise on Wednesday in West Bengal's Panagarh.

People familiar with the matter said Chandaka Govind died while carrying out a para jump from an aircraft.

In a tweet, the Indian Navy said Govind, a petty officer, lost his life while undergoing training exercise.

The people cited above said Govind was part of the Indian Navy's elite special forces called Marine Commando Force (Marcos).

Chief of Naval Staff Admiral R Hari Kumar and all personnel of the Navy condoled Govind's demise.

हनुमान जयंती : गृह मंत्रालय ने पश्चिम बंगाल में केंद्रीय बलों की तैनाती की

केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय ने बुधवार को कहा कि हनुमान जयंती के दौरान पश्चिम बंगाल में राज्य पुलिस की सहायता के लिए केंद्रीय सशस्त्र पुलिस बलों को तैनात किया गया है.

इससे पहले मंत्रालय ने रामनवमी के दौरान पश्चिम बंगाल और बिहार में हुई सांप्रदायिक हिंसा की घटनाओं के मद्देनजर सभी राज्यों एवं केंद्रशासित प्रदेशों को छह अप्रैल को हनुमान जयंती के अवसर पर कानून-व्यवस्था एवं शांति सुनिश्चित करने तथा समाज में सांप्रदायिक सद्भाव को बाधित करने वाले संभावित तत्वों पर नजर रखने का निर्देश दिया.

गृह मंत्री के एक प्रवक्ता ने बुधवार देर शाम ट्वीट किया, ‘‘हनुमान जयंती के दौरान कानून व्यवस्था बनाए रखने में राज्य पुलिस की सहायता के लिए पश्चिम बंगाल में केंद्रीय सशस्त्र पुलिस बलों को तैनात किया गया है.''

गृह मंत्री के कार्यालय ने ट्वीट किया, ‘‘राज्य/केंद्रशासित प्रदेश की सरकारों को कानून-व्यवस्था बनाए रखने, त्योहार के दौरान शांति कायम रखने और समाज में सांप्रदायिक सद्भाव को बिगाड़ने की आशंका वाले हर प्रकार के कारक पर नजर रखने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया जाता है.''

रामनवमी की शोभायात्राओं को लेकर पिछले कुछ दिन में पश्चिम बंगाल के हुगली और हावड़ा जिलों में झड़प, आगजनी एवं बमबारी की घटनाएं हुई हैं. इन घटनाओं के दौरान हावड़ा में कई वाहनों को आग लगा दी गई और कई दुकानों में तोड़फोड़ की गई थी.

पश्चिम बंगाल के रिसड़ा कस्बे में रविवार को रामनवमी की शोभायात्रा के दौरान झड़प की सूचना मिली थी. इस शोभायात्रा में भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) के राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष दिलीप घोष और पुरसुरा से पार्टी के विधायक बिमान घोष मौजूद थे. हिंसा में विधायक घायल हो गए थे और उन्हें अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है.

पास के श्रीरामपुर शहर के कुछ हिस्सों में भी तोड़फोड़ की घटनाएं हुईं, जिसके बाद निषेधाज्ञा लागू कर दी गई और इंटरनेट सेवाएं निलंबित कर दी गईं.

केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय ने पश्चिम बंगाल के हावड़ा जिले में रामनवमी के दौरान हुई हिंसा पर मंगलवार को राज्य सरकार से एक विस्तृत रिपोर्ट मांगी.

बिहार के सासाराम और बिहारशरीफ कस्बों में भी 30 और 31 मार्च को सांप्रदायिक हिंसा भड़क गई थी जिसके बाद वाहनों, घरों और दुकानों को आग लगा दी गई थी तथा कई लोग इसमें घायल हो गए थे. इस मामले में 170 लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है.

केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने इन घटनाओं को लेकर चिंता जताई थी और बिहार के राज्यपाल राजेंद्र विश्वनाथ आर्लेकर से स्थिति का जायजा लेने को कहा था. गृह मंत्रालय ने स्थिति से निपटने में राज्य प्रशासन की सहायता के लिए बिहार में अतिरिक्त अर्धसैनिक बल भी भेजे थे.

सासाराम में निषेधाज्ञा लागू होने के बाद शाह ने दो अप्रैल को वहां का अपना प्रस्तावित दौरा रद्द कर दिया था.

"Communal Mindset": India Slams Islamic Nations' Group On Ram Navmi Remark

India has slammed the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation or OIC for its statement on Ram Navami violence, saying it is "one more example of their communal mindset and anti-India agenda".

"OIC only does its reputation damage by being consistently manipulated by anti-India forces," said foreign ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi, condemning its statement alleging that the Muslim community was targetted in several states during Ram Navami celebrations.

The general secretariat of the OIC had issued a statement expressing deep concern at "acts of violence and vandalism targeting (the) Muslim community in several states in India during the Ram Navami processions".

As an example, it cited the torching of a madrasa by a mob in Bihar Sharif on March 31 and accused the country of "Islamophobia".

Violence had broken out in several states, including Bengal, Bihar, Gujarat and Maharashtra during Ram Navami last week.  

New Delhi has also criticised OIC's "unwarranted references" to Jammu and Kashmir.

OIC has "let Pakistan hijack and misuse its platform for carrying out its nefarious agenda of engaging in malicious propaganda against India," said Seema Pujani, the First Secretary of India's Permanent Mission in Geneva at the Human Rights Council on March 31.

"The fact is that the entire territories of the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh have been, are and shall always be part of India. Pakistan is in illegal occupation of Indian territory," she said.

A spokesperson of the foreign ministry has said the OIC has lost its credibility by taking a blatantly communal, partisan and factually incorrect approach to issues.

अमेरिका के पूर्व राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप मंगलवार को मैनहेट्टन की अदालत में पहुंचे. अदालत में पहुंचने के बाद ट्रंप को स्थानीय पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार कर लिया. डोनाल्ड ट्रंप पॉर्न फिल्म की अभिनेत्री स्टॉर्मी डेनियल्स को 2016 में राष्ट्रपति चुनाव से पहले 1,30,000 डॉलर देने के मामले में कोर्ट में पेश हुए हैं. ट्रंप ने अदालत में पेशी से कुछ घंटे पहले अपने समर्थकों को एक ईमेल भी भेजा था. उन्होंने इस ईमेल के सब्जेक्ट में लिखा कि मेरी गिरफ्तारी से पहले मेरा आखिरी ईमेल. डोनाल्ड ट्रंप अमेरिका के पहले ऐसे पूर्व राष्ट्रपति हैं जिनके ऊपर आपराधिक मामले का आरोप है. 

ट्रंप के पहुंचने से पहले कोर्ट के बाहर और भीतर सुरक्षा के कड़े इंतजाम किए गए थे. ट्रंप आठ कारों के काफिले के साथ अदालत परिसर में पहुंचे. ऐसा कहा जा रहा है कि ट्रंप को गिरफ्तार करने के बाद समान्य प्रक्रिया के तहत ही उनके उंगलियों के निशान और 'मग शॉर्ट' भी लिया जाएगा. CNN की खबर के मुताबिक अदालत में अपनी पेशी से पहले ट्रंप मैनहट्टन जिला अटॉर्नी के कार्यालय में पहुंचे जहां पुलिस ने उन्हें गिरफ्तार किया. 

अमेरिका मीडिया ने ट्रंप के वकील के हवाले से बताया कि वर्ष 2024 में व्हाइट हाउस की दौड़ में शामिल होने के इच्छुक 74 वर्षीय रिपब्लिकन नेता ट्रंप अदालत के समक्ष आपराधिक मामले में दोषी होने से इनकार करेंगे. वह पॉर्न फिल्मों की अभिनेत्री स्टार्मी डेनियल को पैसे देने की वजह से इस मामले का सामना कर रहे हैं.

बता दें कि डोनाल्ड ट्रंप मैनहेट्टन की अदालत में पहुंचने से पहले अपने ‘मार-ए-लागो' आवास से सोमवार को बोइंग 757 विमान से न्यूयॉर्क के लिए रवाना हुए थे और पूर्वी मानक समय (ईएसटी) समयानुसार दोपहर तीन बजे (भारतीय समयामुसार देर रात साढ़े 12 बजे) न्यूयार्क के ला गार्डिया हवाई अड्डे पहुंचे. 

इससे पहले ट्रंप के वकीलों ने सोमवार को न्यायाधीश मर्चेन से आग्रह किया था कि वह अदालत कक्ष में कैमरे लाने की अनुमति प्रदान नहीं करें.उनके वकील ने न्यायाधीश मर्चेन को लिखे पत्र में कहा था हम आग्रह करते हैं कि मीडिया के अनुरोध को खारिज किया जाना चाहिए, क्योंकि यह अभियोग लगाने की प्रक्रिया के दौरान सर्कस जैसा माहौल बना देगा और अजीब सुरक्षा चिंताओं को उठाएगा और यह ट्रंप के बेगुनाह होने की धारणा के लिए भी मुनासिब नहीं है.

3 Workers Die After Inhaling Toxic Gases While Cleaning Sewer

Three sanitation workers died after allegedly inhaling poisonous gases while cleaning a drainage line without any safety gear in Gujarat's Bharuch district on Tuesday, police said.

Two more workers were hospitalised after they breathed in toxic gases in their attempt to pull their colleagues from the sewer at Dahej village in the district, said RB Vasava, social welfare officer.

Police are on the lookout for the contractor who had engaged the labourers to clear the drainage line. The contractor is yet to be identified, a police official said.

“Three workers who had entered the sewer died. Two others who tried to help the trio come out were hospitalised after inhaling poisonous gases. We have launched a probe from our side to find out who is responsible for the deaths,” said Vasava.

The deceased workers have been identified as Galsingh Muniya, Anif Parmar and Paresh Katara.

“This sewer comes under the jurisdiction of Dahej village panchayat. Three persons have died while cleaning it. The bodies were sent for post-mortem at Bharuch civil hospital. We will take appropriate legal action,” said Deputy Superintendent of Police RR Sarvaiya.

The Gujarat government last month informed the Legislative Assembly that 11 sanitation workers have died while cleaning drains in different parts of the state during the last two years.

All urban local bodies as well as panchayats have been directed by the government to strictly follow the provisions of the ‘Prohibition of Employment as Manual Scavengers and their Rehabilitation Act, 2013', Gujarat Social and Justice and Empowerment Minister Bhanuben Babariya had said.

“Despite our best efforts to see that no worker is asked to go inside sewer lines and all guidelines are strictly followed, some private contractors hire workers from other states and ask them to enter into drains, which leads to tragedy. Even if a worker belongs to another state, we pay compensation to the kin (in case of death),” she had said told the House.

दिल्ली : लोगों को फर्जी दस्तावेज के जरिए भेजते थे विदेश, गिरोह का भंडाफोड़, 11 गिरफ्तार

दिल्ली पुलिस ने एक ऐसे गिरोह का भंडाफोड़ किया है जो लोगों से पैसे लेकर पहले उनका फर्जी दस्तावेज बनाते थे और बाद में उन्हें विदेश भेज देते थे. पुलिस ने इस गिरोह के 11 सदस्यों को गिरफ्तार किया है. ये सभी एजेंट्स के तौर पर काम करते थे.पुलिस के अनुसार जिन एजेंट्स को गिरफ्तार किया गया है उनमें से तीन काफी समय से इमिग्रेशन रैकेट से जुड़े हुए थे. एयरपोर्ट पुलिस ने बीते 10 दिनों में 11 लोगों को ऐसे अलग-अलग मामलों में गिरफ्तार किया है.  

पुलिस की शुरुआती जांच में पता चला है कि गिरफ्तार आरोपी ऐसे लोगों को तलाशते थे जो विदेश जाना चाहते हों. इसके बाद उनके दस्तावेज़ तैयार कर उनको ये भरोसा दिलाया जाता था कि उनके गिरोह के लोग देश के साथ-साथ विदेश में भी बैठे हुए हैं. इसके बाद विदेश जाने के इच्छुक हर इंसान से आठ लाख रुपये में सौदा तय किया जाता था.

इसके बाद ही आगे की प्रक्रिया की जाती थी. इस गिरोह के तीन मास्टरमाइंड हैदराबाद के रहने वाले हैं. इस गिरोह की जानकारी मिलने के बाद पुलिस ने गिरोह के लिए काम करने वाले अन्य एजेंट्स की भी तलाश शुरू कर दी गई. इसके बाद ही पुलिस ने इन लोगों की गिरफ्तारी शुरू की.

3 Jail Officials Suspended After "Objectionable Material' Found In Prisons

Three senior jail superintendents were suspended after "objectionable material" was found in their prisons during a search conducted on April 1, an official said on Tuesday.

Police, however, did not immediately identify the "objectionable material".

Shashikant Singh, senior jail superintendent of Naini Central Prison in Prayagraj; Avinash Gautam, senior jail superintendent of Banda district prison; and Rajeev Shukla, senior jail superintendent of Bareilly district prison, were suspended for administrative laxity after "objectionable material" was found in their prisons on April 1, a jail department official told PTI.

On March 13, six Bareilly district jail officials, including the jailor and deputy jailor, were suspended for facilitating illegal meetings of visitors with gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed's brother Ashraf, who has been lodged in the prison since July 2020.

The action was taken on the basis of an inquiry report of DIG (Prison) R N Pandey.

Police sources had earlier said that nine members of the Atiq Ahmad gang had met Ashraf in Bareilly district jail on February 11 and allegedly hatched the conspiracy to kill Umesh Pal -- a key witness in the BSP MLA Raju Pal murder case.

Umesh Pal and his police security guards Sandeep Nishad and Raghvendra Singh were shot dead on February 24 outside his home in Prayagraj's Dhoomanganj.

Based on a complaint lodged by Umesh Pal's wife Jaya Pal, a case was registered at Dhoomanganj police station against Atiq Ahmad, his wife Shaista Parveen, Ashraf, two sons, aides Guddu Muslim and Ghulam, and nine others.

"Stay In Five-Star, Instigate Riots And Go..." Mamata Banerjee Targets BJP

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led Centre alleging central forces came to the state to instigate riots.

Mamata Banerjee was on a visit to Purba Medinipur on Monday where she distributed public welfare services to the people.

Addressing the gathering here, Ms Banerjee said, "Here the Central Forces came, stayed in a five-star hotel, instigated riots. They then held a meeting with BJP people and returned. Before their arrival, first of all ask should them where is the money for 100 days of employment (MGNREGA)? First tell that, then come to Bengal to incite riots."

CM Banerjee urged the people to not vote for BJP in the upcoming Panchayat polls and 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

"I will do everything for you (people), but you are requested not to support BJP, the party that creates riots, in Panchayat and 2024 elections," she added.

Notably, ruckus and stone pelting erupted during the BJP's Shobha yatra in Hooghly on Sunday. Earlier on Thursday, several vehicles were set on fire after two groups clashed in Howrah amid Ram Navami celebrations.

During the procession, the rioters vandalized public and private properties and set vehicles on fire.

Meanwhile, allegations and counter-allegations continued to fly between the ruling Trinamool Congress and the principal opposition party BJP on the issue.

Soon after the reports of the violence Union Home Minister Amit Shah had spoken to the Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose on the issue. In fact, the union home secretary has sought a detailed report from the state on the violence.

West Bengal BJP demanded National Investigation Agency (NIA) probe into the violence.

Delhi: युवक की हत्या कर प्लास्टिक के बोरे में डालकर शव को फेंका, संदिग्ध आरोपी फरार

राजधानी दिल्ली के नबी करीम इलाके में सोमवार सुबह प्लास्टिक के बोरे में एक युवक का शव मिलने से सनसनी फैल गई. खबर मिलते ही पुलिस अधिकारी मौके पर पहुंच गए. मृतक करीब 35 साल के युवक की पहचान नहीं हो सकी है. उसके सिर पर किसी भारी चीज से चोट के निशान थे. पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए आरएमएल अस्पताल की मोर्चरी भेज दिया है. शुरुआती जांच के बाद गली में ही रहने वाले एक शख्स पर युवक की हत्या करने का शक जताया जा रहा है. वारदात के बाद से आरोपी अपना घर बंद कर फरार है. पुलिस उसकी तलाश कर रही है.

पुलिस के मुताबिक सोमवार सुबह करीब 7.27 बजे नबी करीम थाने की पुलिस को सूचना मिली कि राजधानी मेडिकोज के पास प्लास्टिक के एक बोरे में युवक का शव पड़ा है. सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस की टीम तुरंत वहां पहुंच गई. क्राइम टीम के अलावा एफएसएल की टीम को बुला लिया गया. मौके से साक्ष्य जुटाने के बाद पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर मोर्चरी भेजा है. जांच के दौरान पुलिस को पता चला कि उसके सिर पर किसी भारी वस्तु से वारकर हत्या की गई है.

छानबीन के बाद पुलिस को घटना स्थल के पास गली नंबर-10, मुल्तानी ढांडा में जमीन पर खून पड़ा मिला. उसके आधार पर पुलिस ने सीसीटीवी की जांच की. घटना स्थल से चंद मीटर दूर एक मकान में संदिग्ध युवक का पुलिस को पता चला उसके घर पर छापेमारी करने पर वह घर से गायब मिला. पुलिस ने हत्या और सबूत मिटाने का मामला दर्ज कर आरोपी की तलाश शुरू कर दी है.

Andhra To Distribute Housing Plots To Nearly 50,000 Poor People In Amravati

The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) will distribute housing plots to 48,218 people of economically weaker sections from Krishna and Guntur districts, said an official on Monday.

Spread across six villages and 1,135 acres, these plots will be doled out to those who do not own houses in Mandadam, Inavolu, Krishnayapalem, Navuluru, Kuragallu and Nidamanuru.

“The state government has made amendments to the CRDA Act to facilitate allotment of house sites to the poor. According to Section 41(3), (4) of the CRDA Act, the government has created R5 zone and brought various lands under its jurisdiction,” said the official in a statement.

The southern state has issued a gazette notification to this effect after sifting through objections and suggestions, including interacting with the public in October.

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy directed the district collectors of Krishna and Guntur to prepare the detailed project reports (DPR), along with the list of beneficiaries and pass them over to the CRDA.

According to the government, the beneficiaries of these plots will receive the house pattas (documents) in the third phase of the 'Navaratnalu houses for the poor programme, which is in sync with the GO issued recently on allotting plots to the poor in Amaravati.

Meanwhile, Reddy instructed officials to draw up an action plan for creating the basic infrastructure for the construction of houses.

He directed them to expedite the procedures so that work could begin in the first week of May.

PM Likely To Hold Over 15 Rallies In Karnataka Ahead Of Assembly Elections

In the run-up to the keenly contested battle for Karnataka, the Bharatiya Janata Party is keen to brighten its prospects on the popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is the party's biggest face.

"We are hoping that PM Modi holds between 15-20 rallies in Karnataka ahead of May 10 polling," a senior BJP leader told ANI.

The BJP, which is ruling Karnataka and is hoping to return to power, will be pitching for growth under the "double-engine government".

PM Modi would likely visit the state this weekend, his first visit since the announcement of assembly election dates and eighth visit to the state this year. He will visit in Mysuru.

A Karnataka BJP MP said that the party has strong organisational base in the state.

"The biggest factor that stands out for us is the commitment of the Narendra Modi government at the Centre which has ensured that peace and development goes hand in hand in the state," the MP said.

In the run up to the state polls, BJP appointed Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan as its election incharge. Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and TN BJP chief Annamalai are co-incharges.

Chief Minister Basvaraj Bommai is heading the party's campaign committee. The election management committee is headed by union minister Shobha Karandlaje.

The counting of votes for the assembly polls will take place on May 13.

शुद्ध प्रत्‍यक्ष कर संग्रह में बीते वित्त वर्ष में बंपर उछाल, 18% की बढ़ोतरी के साथ 16.61 लाख करोड़ रुपये

बीते वित्त वर्ष 2022-23 में शुद्ध प्रत्यक्ष कर संग्रह संशोधित बजट अनुमान से अधिक यानी 16.61 लाख करोड़ रुपये रहा है. वित्त मंत्रालय ने सोमवार को वित्त वर्ष 2022-23 के लिए कर संग्रह के अस्थायी आंकड़े जारी करते हुए कहा कि हाल ही में समाप्त वित्त वर्ष में प्रत्यक्ष कर संग्रह 16.61 लाख करोड़ रुपये रहा है, जबकि इसका बजट अनुमान 14.20 लाख करोड़ रुपये था. बजट अनुमान को बाद में संशोधित कर 16.50 लाख करोड़ रुपये कर दिया गया था. इस तरह शुद्ध प्रत्यक्ष कर संग्रह संशोधित अनुमान से 0.69 प्रतिशत अधिक रहा. 

वित्त वर्ष 2021-22 की तुलना में शुद्ध प्रत्यक्ष कर संग्रह 17.63 प्रतिशत बढ़ा है. एक साल पहले यह 14.12 लाख करोड़ रुपये था. 

वित्त मंत्रालय के मुताबिक, वित्त वर्ष 2022-23 में सकल कॉरपोरेट कर संग्रह एक साल पहले की तुलना में 16.91 प्रतिशत बढ़कर 10.04 लाख करोड़ रुपये हो गया. 

समाप्त वित्त वर्ष में सकल व्यक्तिगत आयकर संग्रह (एसटीटी समेत) 9.60 लाख करोड़ रुपये रहा. इस तरह इसमें वित्त वर्ष 2021-22 के 7.73 लाख करोड़ रुपये की तुलना में 24.23 प्रतिशत वृद्धि दर्ज की गई है. 

वित्त वर्ष 2022-23 में 3,07,352 करोड़ रुपये का रिफंड भी जारी किया गया जो एक साल पहले के 2,23,658 करोड़ रुपये की तुलना में 37.42 प्रतिशत अधिक है.

इतिहास से मुगल बाहर? CBSE और UP बोर्ड के 12वीं के पाठ्यक्रम में मुगल काल पर चली कैंची

मुगल साम्राज्य (Mughal Empire) से जुड़े अध्‍याय अब सीबीएसई और यूपी बोर्ड के 12वीं कक्षा के छात्रों के इतिहास के पाठ्यक्रम का हिस्सा नहीं होंगे. एक शीर्ष अधिकारी ने NDTV को बताया कि स्कूली शिक्षा पर केंद्र और राज्य की शीर्ष सलाहकार संस्था एनसीईआरटी ने इतिहास के पाठ्यक्रम में संशोधन किया है और सीबीएसई की 12वीं कक्षा की मध्यकालीन इतिहास की पाठ्यपुस्तकों से 'किंग्स एंड क्रॉनिकल्स' और 'द मुगल कोर्ट्स' के अध्यायों को हटा दिया गया है. उत्तर प्रदेश के सरकारी स्कूल एनसीईआरटी की 12वीं कक्षा की नई इतिहास की पाठ्यपुस्तकों को अपनाएंगे, जिसमें मुगलों के बारे में अंश हटा दिए गए हैं. 

उपमुख्यमंत्री ब्रजेश पाठक ने कहा, "हम अपने छात्रों को एनसीईआरटी की किताबों से पढ़ाते हैं. संशोधित संस्करण में जो कुछ भी है, उसका पालन किया जाएगा."

अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव (बेसिक और माध्यमिक शिक्षा) दीपक कुमार ने बदलाव की पुष्टि की है. कुमार ने पीटीआई से कहा, "हम एनसीईआरटी की किताबों का पालन करते हैं और संशोधित संस्करण में जो कुछ भी उपलब्ध है, उसका हम राज्य के स्कूलों में 2023-24 सत्र से पालन करेंगे."

12वीं कक्षा की राजनीति विज्ञान की किताबों को संशोधित किया गया है. 'राइज ऑफ पॉपुलर मूवमेंट्स' - भारत में समाजवादी और कम्युनिस्ट पार्टियों के उदय के बारे में और 'एरा ऑफ़ वन पार्टी डॉमिनेंस' - स्वतंत्रता के बाद के युग में कांग्रेस शासन से जुड़े पाठ हटा दिए गए हैं. 

इसके साथ ही 10वीं और 11वीं कक्षा की पाठ्यपुस्तकों में भी बदलाव किए गए हैं. कक्षा 10 की राजनीति विज्ञान की किताबों से 'डेमोक्रेसी एंड डाइवर्सिटी', 'पॉपुलर स्‍ट्रगल एंड मूवमेंट्स' वाले चैप्टर हटा दिए गए हैं. वहीं 11वीं की इतिहास की किताबों से 'सेंट्रल इस्लामिक लैंड्स' और 'कंफ्रंटेशन ऑफ कल्‍चर्स' जैसे चैप्टर भी हटा दिए गए हैं.

एनसीईआरटी के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी ने इन बदलावों की पुष्टि की और कहा कि इस साल (2023-24) से ही पाठ्यक्रम को लागू कर दिया जाएगा. 

इनमें से कई बदलावों की घोषणा 2022 की शुरुआत में की गई थी, जब सीबीएसई ने अप्रैल में अपने पाठ्यक्रम में बदलाव किया था. सीबीएसई के तहत आने वाले स्कूलों के साथ ही कुछ राज्य बोर्ड भी एनसीईआरटी की पाठ्यपुस्तकों का उपयोग करते हैं. 

एनसीईआरटी ने एक नोट में कहा था, "पाठ्यपुस्तकों की सामग्री को कई कारणों से तर्कसंगत बनाया गया है, जिसमें एक ही कक्षा में अन्‍य विषयों में समान सामग्री के साथ ओवरलैपिंग सहित एक ही विषय पर निचली या उच्च कक्षाओं में समान सामग्री शामिल है.

Is Bhagwa BJP's Trademark: Kamal Nath After Saffron Flags In Congress Office

Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Kamal Nath on Sunday questioned whether the "bhagwa" colour is the trademark of BJP as he reached out to Hindu priests at the state party office decorated with saffron flags and banners.

Kamal Nath told the sants, pujais and heads of temples that their demand for the control and management of properties of temples would be fulfilled once Congress returns to power in the state after six months.

The Assembly elections in the state are due later this year.

"The BJP gives land parcels to businessmen but not to priests for temples. Is Bhagwa the trademark of the BJP? Does BJP have taken a patent of the saffron colour? The BJP also claims it has taken the patent of the Hindu religion," Mr Nath said when reporters asked him about saffron flags and banners decorating the party office.

The Bharatiya Janata Party lost the 2018 Assembly polls in Madhya Pradesh after being in power for 15 years to Congress, with the results throwing up a hung Assembly.

While the Congress had emerged as the single largest party by bagging 114 seats in the 230-member House, the BJP won 109 seats. However, the BJP got 41.02 per cent votes against the Congress' 40.89 per cent.

Subsequently, the Congress formed a coalition government under Kamal Nath but it collapsed in March 2020 when 25 MLAs loyal to Jyotiraditya Scindia revolted, paving the way for the return of Shivraj Singh Chouhan as the chief minister.

मध्य प्रदेश देश के उन राज्यों में है, जहां सरप्लस बिजली है, लेकिन ग्राहक लगातार जूझ रहे हैं.  कई लोगों की शिकायत रहती है कि मीटर रीडिंग ठीक नहीं. खपत से ज्यादा बिल आ रहा है, लाइन ट्रिप हो रही है.  लेकिन राज्य में एक सरकारी कंपनी ने खुद का ऐप बनाकर ऐसा प्रयोग किया है जिसे सीखने और समझने देश भर की कंपनियां जबलपुर आ रही हैं. इस ऐप का नाम GIS रखा गया है. 3 महीने की कड़ी मेहनत के बाद तैयार इस ऐप से प्रदेश के सभी बिजली के खंभों, ट्रांसफार्मर, मीटर और उपभोक्ताओं की जानकारी दर्ज की गई और इसे ऑनलाइन भी कर दिया गया है.

जानकारी के अनुसार पिछले 1 साल में ही इस ऐप से 21 फीसद से ज्यादा रेवेन्यू मिला है.12 लाख किसानों में लाखों के बिजली बिल 20% से भी अधिक कम हुए हैं. मार्च 2023 में कंपनी को राजस्व संग्रहण 847 करोड़ रूपये है जो राज्य में तीनों वितरण कंपनियों में सबसे ज्यादा है.

मध्यप्रदेश पूर्व क्षेत्र विद्युत वितरण कंपनी के ऐप से कोई भी ग्राहक अपना बिल, ट्रांसफार्मर, अपनी लाइन सब कुछ देख सकता है. शिकायत कर सकता है. स्थिति जान सकता है. पुर्नोत्थान वितरण क्षेत्र सुधार योजना यानी आरडीएसएस में राज्य में 6000 करोड़ के काम होंगे, ऐसी पहल से देश में मध्यप्रदेश की दावेदारी और मजबूत हो रही है.

Congress Attacks Centre, Alleges Pegasus-Like "Hack" Ahead Of 2024 Polls

The Congress on Sunday hit out at the BJP-led government over a media report which claimed that the Centre is looking to acquire a new spyware system, alleging that a "conspiracy" to hack phones of people by taking foreign help ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls has come to the fore.

Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh's attack on the government came over a Financial Times report which claimed that the Centre is looking for new spyware with a lower profile than the controversial Pegasus system and is seeking to spend up to USD 120 million through new spyware contracts.

"Modi government spied on citizens, Opposition, judiciary, election commissioner, journalists through Pegasus with foreign help before last elections. Now before the elections, once again conspiracy to hack phones of the people of country by taking foreign help has come to the fore," Ramesh said in a tweet in Hindi.

This is a direct attack on democracy, he alleged. 

About a dozen competitors are expected to join the bidding process, stepping into the void created by the pressure on NSO, the Israeli makers of Pegasus, from human rights groups and the administration of US President Joe Biden, the Financial Times reported.

बिहार में सद्भाव बिगाड़ने पर कठोरतम कार्रवाई की जा रही : तेजस्वी यादव

बिहार के उप मुख्यमंत्री तेजस्वी यादव ने रविवार को कहा कि, ''बिहार में सद्भाव बिगाड़ने की कोशिश पर बिहार सरकार की पैनी नजर है. जिन राज्यों में बीजेपी कमजोर है वहां बौखलाई हुई है. एक-एक उपद्रवी को चिन्हित कर कठोरतम कार्रवाई की जा रही है. भाईचारे को तोड़ने के किसी भी भाजपाई  'प्रयोग' का हमने हमेशा माकूल जवाब दिया है और देते रहेंगे.'' बिहार में केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह की जनसभा के बाद तेजस्वी ने उक्त ट्वीट किया. 

गौरतलब है कि बिहार के सासाराम और बिहारशरीफ में रामनवमी और उसके बाद हिंसा की घटनाएं हुई हैं.  

बिहार के नवादा में रविवार को केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने एक जनसभा को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि, ''जनता के बीच जाएंगे और महागठबंधन की सरकार को उखाड़ फेंकेंगे.'' उन्होंने कहा कि, ''नीतीश बाबू ( मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार) प्रधानमंत्री बनने से रहे क्योंकि देश की जनता ने तय किया है कि तीसरी बार नरेंद्र मोदी प्रधानमंत्री बनने वाले हैं. अब नीतीश बाबू को वापस न लिया जाए यही जनता का मन है.'' उन्होंने कहा कि, ''लोकसभा चुनाव के बाद यह (बिहार) सरकार अपने वजन से गिरने वाली है और कमल की सरकार बनने वाली है.'' उन्होंने लोगों से कहा कि, ''40 में से 40 सीटें दीजिए, दंगा करने वालों को उल्टा लटकाकर सीधा कर देंगे.'' 

इससे पहले शुक्रवार को तेजस्वी यादव ने केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह के उस दावे पर कटाक्ष किया था कि केंद्र में पूर्ववर्ती कांग्रेस नीत संयुक्त प्रगतिशील गठबंधन (यूपीए) सरकार के दौरान केंद्रीय अन्वेषण ब्यूरो (सीबीआई) ने ‘‘दबाव'' बनाया था. राष्ट्रीय जनता दल (आरजेडी) के नेता यादव ने कहा था कि वे शाह की टिप्पणी से अनभिज्ञ हैं, लेकिन आश्चर्य है कि क्या यह अनजाने में स्वीकार किया गया है कि नरेंद्र मोदी नीत सरकार के दौरान केंद्रीय एजेंसियों पर ‘‘दबाव'' डाला जा रहा है.

उन्होंने कहा था, ‘‘मैं यह नहीं कह सकता कि उनके दावे में कोई सच्चाई है या नहीं. लेकिन, उन्होंने दबाव शब्द का इस्तेमाल किया. तो, एक तरह से, क्या इसका मतलब यह नहीं है कि वे स्वीकार करते हैं कि केंद्रीय एजेंसियों पर दबाव डाला जा रहा है और उन्हें निष्पक्ष तरीके से काम करने की अनुमति नहीं दी जा रही है?''

Police Notice To 11 Organisations Over Massive Cyber Theft

The Cyberabad Police in Hyderabad has issued notices to as many as 11 organisations, including three banks, a social media giant and an Information Technology services company, asking their representatives to appear before it in connection with a breach of data of 66.9 crore persons across the country, a senior police official said on Sunday.

The Cyberabad Police on Saturday said they arrested one person, Vinay Bhardwaj, who was allegedly involved in stealing, holding and selling personal and confidential data of 66.9 crore individuals and organisations belonging to 24 states and eight metropolitan cities, maintained in 104 categories.

The accused person was found in possession of the data of students of edu-tech organisations as well as the GST details of persons and companies, and the consumer/customer data of major organisations such as road transport corporations of various states, major e-commerce portals, social media platforms and fintech companies.

The 11 organisations to whom the notices were issued include two PSU banks and one private bank, a social media giant, an IT services company, an online grocery seller, a digital payments app and an online insurance platform, police said.

The 11 organisations' representatives have been told to appear before the police during the next one week to furnish details on how the companies maintained their databases, what procedures and policies were followed in this regard and who could access the data. This could help investigators ascertain how the database was leaked and accessed by an "unauthorised" person, among other relevant details, police said.

The arrested accused was operating through a website, 'InspireWebz', at Faridabad, Haryana and selling databases to clients through cloud drive links, police said.

In March, Cyberabad Police arrested seven people of a gang who were allegedly involved in the theft and sale of sensitive data of the government and important organisations, including details of 2.55 lakh defence personnel as well as the personal and confidential data of about 16.8 crore citizens across the country.
