External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, speaking in Lok Sabha on Friday, highlighted incidents involving attack on minorities in Pakistan and Bangladesh.
The minister said New Delhi is tracking "very closely" the treatment of minorities in Pakistan and making its position "well known", but the country cannot change the "fanatical and bigoted mindset" of a neighbour.

Asia's Largest Tulip Garden In Srinagar Opens For Public
Nestled between the Dal Lake and the Zabarwan Hills, Asia's largest tulip garden opened for the public on Wednesday, marking the beginning of a new tourism season in the Kashmir valley.
The Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden was thrown open to the public by Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.

Former Rajya Sabha member and a descendant of the Kolhapur royal family, Sambhajiraje Chhatrapati, has asked Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to remove the memorial of a dog from Raigad Fort.

The director of a private hospital in Patna was allegedly shot dead inside her office cabin on Saturday afternoon, police said.
The incident came to light when Surabhi Raj, director of Asia Hospital near Dhanki Mor in Agamkuan police station area, was found lying in a pool of blood, with bullet injuries, by the hospital staff. The woman was rushed to AIIMS, Patna, where she succumbed to injuries.

A total of 388 Indian nationals have been deported from the US since January 2025, the government informed Parliament on Friday.
Of these, 333 were deported directly from the US on three separate military flights in February.
