दिल्ली के अलीपुर इलाके में शनिवार को एक पेपर गोदाम में भीषण आग लग गई. आग इतनी भीषण थी कि धुएं का गुबार कई किलोमीटर दूर से ही देखा जा सकता था. आग लगने की सूचना के बाद फायर ब्रिगेड की 30 गाड़ियां मौके पर पहुंची. फिलहाल आग बुझाने का काम जारी है. अभी आग लगने की वजह का पता नहीं चल पाया है. लोगों ने बताया कि गोदाम में भारी मात्रा में पेपर और प्लास्टिक रखा होने से आग ने कुछ ही समय में विकराल रूप ले लिया. आसपास के लोगों ने आग लगने की जानकारी फायर ब्रिगेड को दी. इसके बाद एक-एक कर 30 फायर टेंडर मौके पर पहुंचे. एहतिहात के तौर पर आसपास के गोदामों को भी खाली करा लिया गया है.  इससे पहले शनिवार को ही गाजियाबाद स्थित एक फैक्ट्री में आग लगने की घटना सामने आई थी. घटना में किसी के हताहत होने की सूचना नहीं है. from NDTV India - Latest https://ift.tt/VHxLnoP via IFTTT

The Indian Army successfully neutralised two terrorists in the general area of Halkan Gali in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag in a significant counter-terrorism operation, a defence spokesperson said today. Acting on specific intelligence, security forces had been tracking the terror group's activities for over a month, the spokesperson said. These terrorists were responsible for multiple attacks, including the targeting of Rifleman Hilal Ahmad Bhat of 162 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) on October 8 and previous incidents in Halan, Bijbiara and Shangus. Days after Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh announced that the state government undertook equal efforts for the development of both valley and hill areas, top government officials said a higher amount of funds was sanctioned for hill than valley areas. The Manipur government's response comes after some Kuki groups, leaders and MLAs began accusing the state government of imbalanced allocation of the Central Road Infrastructure Fund (CRIF) under the Union Road Transport and Highways Ministry. Ningombam Subhash, the Chief Engineer of Manipur's Public Works Department, said between 2020-21 and 2024-25, Rs 2,395.51 crore was sanctioned for different road and bridge projects in the hill areas, while Rs 1,300.21 crore was sanctioned for valley areas. In a significant crackdown, Navi Mumbai Police arrested 20 Nigerian nationals, including 13 women and seven men, who were partying in the Kharghar area and seized Mephedrone drug with an estimated value of Rs 26.77 lakh, officials said on Tuesday. Acting on a tip-off, sleuths of the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC), including five police inspectors, 150 constables, personnel of the anti-riot squad and members of a forensic team, raided two food joints on Monday late at night. Police seized 107 grams of Mephedrone, valued at Rs 26,77,500, and liquor from the possession of the Nigerians, an official statement said. The arrested persons were produced before a local magistrate court that remanded them to judicial custody. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Sunday said the disengagement of troops at Depsang and Demchok in Ladakh is the first step, and it is expected that India will return to the 2020 patrolling status. The next step is de-escalation, which will not happen until India is sure that the same is happening on the other side as well, the EAM said, obviously referring to China. Earlier this week, India announced it had reached an agreement with China on patrolling along the LAC in eastern Ladakh, a major breakthrough in ending the over four-year-long military standoff.
