A passenger allegedly abused and assaulted a senior Air India official onboard a Sydney-Delhi flight on July 9, adding to the recent spate of unruly behaviour mid-air.
The incident took place when the Air India official, who had to move to the economy from his business class seat due to a malfunction in his seat, requested the accused to speak softly, a source said.

A special CBI court here on Saturday set aside a magistrate's order taking of cognisance of the chargesheet filed against fugitive diamantaire Mehul Choksi in a loan fraud case amounting to more than Rs 22 crore.

BJP Got 3 Times More Donations Than Other Parties In 7 Years: Report
More than half of all donations received by political parties between 2016-17 and 2021-22 were through Electoral Bonds and the BJP received more funds than all other national parties put together, a report by think tank Association for Democratic Reforms said.

Flood Warning In Delhi As Haryana Discharges Water Into Yamuna
The Delhi government issued a flood warning on Sunday as Haryana released more than one lakh cusecs of water into the Yamuna river from the Hathnikund barrage.
The irrigation and flood control department said this was the first warning, with 1,05,453 cusecs of water discharged at 4 pm.
Normally, the flow rate at the barrage is 352 cusecs, but heavy rainfall in the catchment areas increases the discharge. The water from the barrage takes around two to three days to reach Delhi.
