1 Crore Youth To Be Provided Jobs In Next 3 Years In UP: Chief Minister

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday laid the foundation stone of a mini stadium at Bholaram Maskara Inter College in Sahjanwa.

"Laying the foundation stone of a mini rural stadium equipped with a multi-sports complex, an athletics track, the audience gallery and the ground to be built at the cost of Rs 10.43 crore at Bholaram Maskara Inter College at Sahjanwa, Gorakhpur, CM Yogi said that the investments to be made in Sahjanwa assembly constituency of Gorakhpur and other places will also enable the youths to get jobs near their homes," the official statement said.

While addressing the public, the chief minister said that the stadium will help nurture sporting talents in the rural areas of Sahjanwa and Gorakhpur.

"Prime Minister Modi gave the slogan of 'Khelo India Khelo' in 2014. Today, the slogan has become a reality. India is winning medals in Olympic Games and Commonwealth Games. Uttar Pradesh is also winning medals in these mega sporting events, with commendable work done by the UP Youth Welfare Department and Basic Education Department," he said.

He also said that a total of one crore youth will get employment in the next three years.

"CM Yogi also said that one crore youths of the state will be provided employment in the next three years through the investment proposals received at the recently held Global Investors Summit in the State," it said.

"CM Yogi further stated that Sahjanwa will have two stadiums, one at Bholaram Maskara Inter College and the other at Atal Residential School. CM Yogi also said that Sahjanwa has witnessed rapid development in recent times with the construction of a railway overbridge and connectivity with a four-lane road," it mentioned.

On the occasion the UP chief minister also announced that government will distribute two crore tablets to college students.

"The government will also distribute two crore tablets and smartphones to students across the state in degree colleges to encourage them. Besides, several new technical and other institutes are being built to prepare the state's youth for the job market. A polytechnic institute will be built here also. Besides, Atal Residential School being built here will be inaugurated soon," it mentioned.

He further stated that Government is aggressively pursuing its development agenda and the drive to deal sternly with anti-social elements threatening the state's security.

"Businessmen and industrialists must have the freedom and security to run their businesses and plants because on the one hand, they promote the growth of the state and on the other they provide employment to its youth," he said.

Gorakhpur MP and film actor Ravi Kishan was also present during the occasion.

Human Foetus Found In School Lab In Madhya Pradesh, Probe Launched

Police have started a probe after a private school in Sagar district was found to be in possession of a human foetus, an official said on Saturday.

A member of the Madhya Pradesh Child Rights Commission has lodged a police complaint against the school, situated in Bina town, in this regard.

MPCRC member Omkar Singh Thakur said that following a complaint, a two-member MPCRC committee on April 6 paid a surprise visit to the school and found that the biology laboratory had a human foetus kept in a jar.

When asked how they got hold of it, the school management could not give a satisfactory answer, he claimed.

While medical colleges have such preserved foetuses, permission is needed for other organisations for keeping them, Mr Thakur said.

Bina police station in-charge Kamal Nigwal said a probe has been started on the basis of the report forwarded by the MPCRC, though no First Information Report has been registered yet.

सिक्किम : पुराने बसे लोगों को कर छूट के विरोध में रैली से पहले वरिष्ठ कार्यकर्ता पर हमला

सिक्किम के सिंगतम में आज हिंसा हुई. सिक्किम में पुराने बसे लोगों को आयकर में छूट के खिलाफ एक विरोध रैली के दौरान एक वरिष्ठ कार्यकर्ता की पिटाई कर दी गई. इसके बाद अधिकारियों ने सीआरपीसी की धारा 144 लागू कर दी. सिक्किम में ज्वाइंट एक्शन काउंसिल (JAC) के नेतृत्व में विरोध प्रदर्शन हो रहे हैं. इस संगठन के महासचिव केशव सपकोटा पर JAC द्वारा आज बुलाई गई रैली से पहले कथित बदमाशों ने हमला किया. इस मामले में अब तक तीन लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया जा चुका है.

विपक्षी राजनीतिक दलों ने अपने विरोधियों के खिलाफ "हिंसा करने" और सीमावर्ती राज्य में राजनीतिक हालात "खराब" करने का आरोप लगाते हुए सत्तारूढ़ सिक्किम क्रांतिकारी मोर्चा (SKM) की आलोचना की है.

सिक्किम डेमोक्रेटिक फ्रंट (SDF), हमरो सिक्किम पार्टी (HSP) और एसकेएम सरकार की सहयोगी बीजेपी ने जेएसी पदाधिकारी पर हमले की निंदा की है.

जेएसी सिक्किम के पुराने निवासियों को आयकर छूट के लिए रास्ता बनाने का विरोध कर रहा है. 13 जनवरी को सुप्रीम कोर्ट के फैसले के साथ लोकसभा में हाल ही में पारित वित्त विधेयक से सिक्किम में पुराने बसे लोगों के आईटी छूट के दायरे का विस्तार हुआ है.

आज विरोध रैली से पहले महासचिव सपकोटा पर बदमाशों ने हमला किया. बाद में उन्हें निकटतम सिंगतम जिला अस्पताल ले जाया गया. हमले से उनकी नाक और सिर में चोटें लगी हैं. बाद में उन्हें गंगटोक के सेंट्रल रेफरल अस्पताल भेज दिया गया.

जेएसी पर हमले के बाद से, सिंगतम शहर में धारा 144 लागू कर दी गई है और विरोध प्रदर्शन बंद कर दिया गया है.

जेएसी पिछले कुछ महीनों से विरोध प्रदर्शन कर रहा था. हाल के वित्त विधेयक के बाद उसने सिक्किम के लोगों को एकजुट करने के लिए विरोध रैली का आह्वान किया था. सरकार से सिक्किमी शब्द को अनुच्छेद 371F के तहत पुराने कानूनों के अनुसार परिभाषित करने की मांग की जा रही है.

One Person Above Country, Courts: Union Minister's Dig At Rahul Gandhi

Taking a swipe at Rahul Gandhi, Union minister Anurag Thakur said on Saturday that for the Congress, one person is above the country, Parliament and courts, and added that even some allies of the opposition party were deserting it due to this attitude.

Talking to reporters here, the Union information and broadcasting minister also targeted Mr Gandhi over a host of Congress leaders, including chief ministers, accompanying him to a court in Gujarat to file an appeal against his conviction in a criminal defamation case.

The fact is that it did not even require his presence to file the appeal, Thakur said and charged that he tried to put pressure on the court.

Following his conviction and two-year jail sentence in the defamation case of 2019 over his Modi surname remark, Mr Gandhi was disqualified from Lok Sabha last month.

Mr Gandhi should have apologised for insulting the backward classes but he chose otherwise and his arrogance has come to the fore once again, Thakur said.

For the Congress, one person is above the country, Parliament and courts. Even the allies of the Congress were leaving them due to this attitude, Mr Thakur claimed.

He said his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) fights every election under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the people of Himachal Pradesh will ensure its victory in all four Lok Sabha seats in the state in the upcoming elections.

He listed various central projects in Bilaspur such as the premier healthcare facility AIIMS.

The Union minister said Rs 1,000 crore has been released this year for the Bhanupali-Bilaspur rail line.

पीएम मोदी ने अपने ट्वीट में इस पार्टी कार्यकर्ता की तारीफ करते हुए लिखा है कि ये एक खास सेल्फी है... मैं चेन्नई में बीजेपी तमिलनाडु के कार्यकर्ता थिरु एस मणिकंदन से मिला. वह कर्नाटक के इरोड के रहने वाले हैं. और बतौर बूथ अध्यक्ष के तौर पर पार्टी के लिए काम करते हैं. थिरु एस मणिकंदन दिव्यांग हैं लेकिन वह अपनी एक दुकान भी चलाते हैं.  इतना ही नहीं, खास बात ये है कि वह इस दुकान से रोजाना जो मुनाफा होता है उसका एक हिस्सा बीजेपी को देते हैं!

गौरतलब है कि पीएम मोदी ने अपने दक्षिण राज्यों के दौरान विपक्ष पर भी जमकर हमला बोल रहे हैं. उन्होंने शनिवार को तेलंगाना में दिए अपने संबोधन में कहा कि कुछ राजनीतिक पार्टियां तो सुप्रीम कोर्ट चली गई थीं और मांग की थी कि केंद्रीय एजेंसियां उनके भ्रष्टाचार की जो जांच कर रही है उन्हें रोक दिया जाए. लेकिन कोर्ट से भी उन्हें झटका ही मिला. बता दें कि कुछ दिन पहले कांग्रेस समेत 14 विपक्षी पार्टियों ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में एक याचिका दायर करके आरोप लगाया गया था कि विपक्षी नेताओं और असहमति के अपने मौलिक अधिकार का प्रयोग करने वाले अन्य नागरिकों के खिलाफ जबरदस्ती आपराधिक प्रक्रियाओं के उपयोग में खतरनाक बढ़ोतरी देखने में आई है. ये सही नहीं है. 

पीएम मोदी ने अपने संबोधन के दौरान केसीआर पर भी जमकर निशाना साधा. उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार से कोई सहयोग नहीं मिल रहा है. पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि केंद्र की राजग सरकार तेलंगाना के नागरिकों के सपनों को साकार करना अपना कर्तव्य समझती है. तेलंगाना पूरे देश में रेलवे के आधुनिकीकरण के लिए किए जा रहे प्रयासों का लाभ पा रहा है.

दिल्ली पुलिस ने लॉज में कारोबारी की हत्या की गुत्थी सुलझाई, हनी ट्रैप का एंगल आया सामने

दिल्ली पुलिस ने सफदरजंग एनक्लेव केे बलजीत लॉज में कारोबारी की हत्या की गुत्थी सुलझा ली है. दिल्ली पुलिस की अपराध शाखा ने इस मामले में पानीपत की रहने वाली 29 साल की महिला उषा उर्फ अंजलि उर्फ निक्की को नोएडा से गिरफ्तार किया है. उषा अपनी साथी महिला मधुमिता के साथ इस गिरोह को चला रही थी. पुलिस के मुताबिक दोनों हनी ट्रेप में फंसाकर लोगों से दोस्ती करतीं और फिर होटल में ले जाकर पीड़ित को शराब में नशीला पदार्थ पिला देते. जब पीड़ित बेहोश जाता तो ये कैश और गहने लेकर फरार हो जातीं थीं. 

क्राइम ब्रांच के स्पेशल सीपी रविन्द्र यादव के मुताबिक, सफदरजंग एनक्लेव इलाके की बलजीत लॉज में मयूर विहार के रहने वाले 53 साल के दीपक सेठी का शव 31 मार्च को मिला था. कारोबारी दीपक सेठी यहां पर एक अंजलि नाम की महिला के साथ 30 मार्च को रात 9ः30 बजे आए थे. महिला रात 12ः24 बजे चली गई थी और दीपक के 1100 रुपये और ज्वैलरी ले गई. सफदरजंग एनक्लेव में हत्या का मामला दर्ज किया गया. 

सफदरजंग एनक्लेव थाने में तैनात इंक्पेक्टर सतीश लोहिया और एसआई दीपक तंवर को पता लगा कि अंजलि नाम की महिला ने लॉज में फर्जी आधार कार्ड जमा कराया है. अपराध शाखा के विशेष पुलिस आयुक्त रविंद्र सिंह यादव ने जांच के लिए शाखा में तैनात एसीपी नरेश सोलंकी की देखरेख में इंस्पेक्टर विजयपाल दहिया, एसआई राजेश बैसोया और एएसआई विजूमोन की टीम को लगाया. इस टीम को पता लगा कि आरोपी महिला लॉज से वापस वैगनआर कार से गई है. इंस्पेक्टर विजय पाल दहिया की टीम ने दीपक के मोबाइल पर किए गए करीब 500 कॉल्स की डिटेल खंगाली.

जांच में पता चला कि एक नंबर फर्जी आईडी से 20 मार्च को शुरू किया गया है. ये मोबाइल दिल्ली के संतगढ़ से 23 मार्च को नाइजीरियन नागरिक चिडे ने रिचार्ज करवाया था. इससे आरोपी महिला उषा की सहेली मधुमिता का नंबर मिल गया. इसके बाद पुलिस टीम ने पानीपत निवासी उषा उर्फ निक्की को नोएडा से गुरुवार शाम को गिरफ्तार कर लिया. उसके कब्जे से पीड़ित का बैग, अंगूठी, फर्जी आधार कार्ड और वारदात में इस्तेमाल किया गया मोबाइल फोन बरामद हुआ. 

पुलिस को जांच में पता लगा कि उषा 2022 में चोरी के मामले में जेल गई थी. जेल में उसकी मुलाकात मधुमिता से हुई. जेल से बाहर आने पर दोनों दिल्ली के संतगढ़ में रहने लगीं. दीपक की मधुमिता से सोशल मीडिया पर बात हुई थी. दोस्ती होने पर दोनों ने नंबर शेयर कर लिए. मधुमिता ने उषा को दीपक के साथ लूटपाट करने के लिए बोला था. आरोपी उषा  ने बताया कि उसकी मंशा दीपक को मारने की नहीं थी, उसे मधुमिता ने बताया था कि दीपक के पास हमेशा 40 से 60 हजार होते हैं. उसे लगा कि दीपक के पास 60 हजार से एक लाख रुपये मिल जाएंगे, मगर उसे दीपक के पास 1100 रुपये ही मिले थे. उसे मधुमिता लॉज के नीचे ओला कैब लेकर आई थी. इसके बाद वह मधुमिता के साथ फरार हो गई. 

उषा ने पूछताछ में खुलासा किया है कि उसे दीपक सेठी बातचीत में अच्छे इंसान लगे. इस कारण वह दीपक के साथ लूटपाट नहीं करना चाहती थी, मगर मजबूरी में उसने ऐसा किया. इस कारण वह बैग पर लिखकर गई थी कि ‘आप एक नाइस पर्सन हैं, सॉरी सॉरी सॉरी, मेरी बहुत ज्यादा मजबूरी थी इसलिए आप के साथ ऐसा किया है एक्सट्रीमली सॉरी‘ उसकी मंशा दीपक को मारने की नहीं बल्कि नशीला पदार्थ पिलाकर सिर्फ लूटपाट करने की थी.

Congress Expecting Over 130 Seats: Siddaramaiah Ahead Of Karnataka Polls

Karnataka Leader of Opposition (LoP) and Congress leader Siddaramaiah on Friday said that the upcoming Karnataka Assembly elections is going to be his last electoral battle and he will retire from politics.

Talking to ANI, Siddaramaiah said, "I am contesting from Varuna assembly constituency as my native village comes under this constituency. This is going to be my last election. I will retire from electoral politics."

Siddaramaiah further added that he will still be in active politics but after this election he won't accept any posts which will be in Delhi.

"I am contesting from Varuna (assembly constituency) as it has been cleared by the party's high command. It's not that I am interested to contest but Kolar people want me to contest from there", he said.

Siddaramaiah said that Congress is expecting more than 130 seats this time.

"We are expecting more than 130 seats this time and Congress Party will come to power with a comfortable majority on its own. People have decided to change the government", he added.

He also slammed at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and Union Home Minister Amit Shah and said, "Basavaraj Bommai miserably failed to protect the interest of Kannadigas. He has no business to continue as CM. Modi and Shah are coming to Karnataka to get votes and claim it's a double-engine government but Maharashtra government is blatantly interfering with the freedom of the state."

Siddaramaiah also added that he treats all human beings equally and not based on which community they identify with.

"BJP is a sectarian party. Ours is a secular party. There can't be any disparity among the people of Karnataka. I treat all human beings equally whether they belong to Hindu, Muslim, Christian, or any other community or religion, I treat them all equally", he said.

Siddaramaiah said that there are no differences between him and Karnataka Congress president DK Shivakumar.

"My relationship with DK Shivakumar is cordial. There are no differences between us. Of course, differences exist in democracy but it is not detrimental to the interests of the party", LoP added.

Siddaramaiah also hit out at the state government's decision to ban reservation of Muslims in the state and said "Recategorising (of reservation) is not proper, not constitutional. It is not valid... We've no objection to increasing the reservation of Vokkaliga & Lingayat but why you abolished the reservation of Muslims... It clearly shows vendetta, hate politics."

Congress on Thursday announced its second list of 42 candidates, for the Karnataka assembly elections but no decision has yet been taken on who would contest from Kolar even as Siddaramaiah has expressed a desire to contest from the constituency.

According to sources, the Congress top brass has asked Siddaramaiah to contest from his traditional stronghold of Varuna in the Mysuru district, where his son doctor Yatindra Siddaramaiah won in the 2018 Assembly Elections.

Sources said that earlier, amid disagreementsbetween the party's local leaders in Kolar, the Congress High Command had instructed the 75-year-old former chief minister to drop his plan to contest from the Kolar assembly segment

The Congress has also accommodated candidates who switched to the party from the BJP and the Janata Dal (Secular). The party is seeking to wrest power from BJP in the state in the upcoming polls.

Meanwhile, former minister Vinay Kulkarni who has been named by Congress as its candidate from Dharwad constituency will have to campaign remotely since the Supreme Court has barred his entry into the district after the CBI named him in connection with the 2016 murder case of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker, Yogeeshgouda Goudar.

Kulkarni has been out on bail on the condition that he will not enter the district nor will do anything to tamper with the evidence in the murder case.

Kulkarni was allegedly involved in connection with the murder of Goudar, on June 15, 2016, after he defeated the rival Congress party candidate in the Zila Panchayat elections.

On Tuesday, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that the party will conduct an extensive discussion on candidates for the remaining 100 seats in the State.

The Congress had on March 25 announced its first list of 124 candidates for the polls, which included names of former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and State Party president DK Shivakumar.

Elections are slated to be held in Karnataka in a single phase on May 10, and the counting of votes will take place on May 13.

Karnataka, which has 224 seats in the Assembly currently has 119 MLAs of the ruling BJP, while Congress has 75 and its ally JD(S) has 28 seats.

Political parties in the State including the ruling BJP, Congress and ally JD(S) are engaged in a spate of allegations and counter-allegations, with the latter attempting to corner the government over the issue of corruption.

Notably, while the opposition Congress and Janata Dal Secular have announced 166 and 93 candidates respectively so far, the ruling BJP is yet to announce its first list of candidates for the 224-seat assembly elections in Karnataka.

The model code of conduct had come into effect after elections were announced in the State.
