Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma while addressing a public meeting in Banamalipur said that Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) built the Ram Temple after removing Babur's occupation at Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya. A court in Delhi on Saturday discharged 11 people, including student activists Sharjeel Imam and Asif Iqbal Tanha, in the Jamia Nagar violence case, saying as the Delhi Police was unable to apprehend the actual perpetrators, it booked the accused as "scapegoats". The court, however, ordered framing of charges against one of the accused, Mohammad Ilyas. "Marshalling the facts as brought forth from a perusal of the chargesheet and three supplementary chargesheets, this court cannot but arrive at the conclusion that the police were unable to apprehend the actual perpetrators behind the commission of the offence, but surely managed to rope the persons herein as scapegoats," Additional Sessions Judge Arul Varma said. सरकार ने कर्ज में डूबी वोडाफोन आइडिया के 16,133 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक के ब्याज बकाये को इक्विटी में बदलने की मंजूरी दे दी है. कंपनी ने शुक्रवार को शेयर बाजार को यह जानकारी दी. सरकार को 10 रुपये के अंकित मूल्य वाले इक्विटी शेयर इसी कीमत पर जारी किए जाएंगे. वोडाफोन आइडिया लिमिटेड (वीआईएल) ने शेयर बाजार को बताया, ‘‘संचार मंत्रालय... ने आज यानी तीन फरवरी, 2023 को एक आदेश पारित किया... कंपनी को निर्देश दिया कि वह स्पेक्ट्रम नीलामी की किस्तों को टालने से संबंधित ब्याज और समायोजित सकल राजस्व (एजीआर) बकाये को इक्विटी शेयरों में बदले, जिसे भारत सरकार को जारी किया जाएगा.'' कंपनी को यह राहत सितंबर, 2021 में सरकार द्वारा घोषित सुधार पैकेज के तहत मिली है. कंपनी ने बताया, ‘‘इक्विटी शेयरों में परिवर्तित होने वाली कुल राशि 1,61,33,18,48,990 रुपये है. कंपनी को 10 रुपये अंकित मूल्य के 16,13,31,84,899 इक्विटी शेयर जारी करने का निर्देश दिया गया है. इनका निर्गम मूल्य भी 10 रुपये है.'' दूरसंचार मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने कहा कि वोडाफोन आइडिया के बकाया को हिस्सेदारी में बदलने का फैसला सरकार न...
