प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी (Prime Minister Narendra Modi) फ्रांस की अपनी यात्रा समाप्त कर अमेरिका के लिए रवाना हो गए हैं. फ्रांस के राष्ट्रपति इमैनुएल मैक्रों खुद उन्हें छोड़ने के लिए एयरपोर्ट तक आए. उन्होंने गले लगाकर पीएम मोदी को विदा किया. फ्रांस यात्रा को लेकर पीएम मोदी ने सोशल मीडिया साइट एक्स पर लिखा'धन्यवाद फ्रांस! एक सार्थक यात्रा समाप्त हुई, जहां मैंने एआई, वाणिज्य, ऊर्जा और सांस्कृतिक संबंधों से लेकर कई कार्यक्रमों में भाग लिया. राष्ट्रपति इमैनुएल मैक्रों और फ्रांस के लोगों का आभार. पीएम मोदी का फ्रांस दौरा दोनों देशों के संबंधों के नजरिए से खासा अहम रहा. इस दौरान मोदी और मैक्रों ने अपनी गहरी दोस्ती को जाहिर किया. 

पीएम मोदी की यात्रा के पहले दिन राष्ट्रपति मैक्रों की ओर से आयोजित रात्रिभोज में दोनों नेताओं ने बातचीत की.  अगले दिन 'एआई एक्शन समिट' में भी यह सौहार्दपूर्ण माहौल जारी रहा. भारत और फ्रांस ने संयुक्त रूप से शिखर सम्मेलन की मेजबानी की. 

मोदी वेंस मुलाकात: प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने मंगलवार को पेरिस में एआई एक्शन शिखर सम्मेलन के इतर अमेरिका के उपराष्ट्रपति जेडी वेंस और उनकी भारतीय मूल की पत्नी उषा व बेटों इवान और विवेक से मुलाकात की.  मोदी ने वेंस परिवार के साथ मुलाकात की तस्वीरें ‘एक्स' पर पोस्ट कीं। उन्होंने लिखा, “अमेरिका के उपराष्ट्रपति जेडी वेंस और उनके परिवार के साथ एक शानदार मुलाकात हुई. हमने विभिन्न विषयों पर बहुत अच्छी बातचीत की. इससे पहले, प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय (पीएमओ) की ओर से साझा किए गए एक वीडियो में मोदी पेरिस में वेंस के साथ द्विपक्षीय वार्ता करते नजर आ रहे हैं, जबकि उषा यह सब देख रही हैं. 

मोदी ने बताया भारत का विजन: पीएम मोदी ने एआई एक्शन समिट में भारत के विजन को दुनिया के सामने रखा. उन्होंने कहा कि भारत के आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस मिशन को लेकर कहा कि भारत अपना अनुभव और विशेषज्ञता साझा करने के लिए तैयार है ताकि यह सुनिश्चित किया जा सके कि एआई का भविष्य सबके लिए अच्छा हो. पीएम ने कहा कि हमें AI से संबंधित मुद्दों से निपटने के लिए वैश्विक मानकों की जरूरत है. भारत ने अपने 1.4 अरब से अधिक लोगों के लिए बहुत कम लागत पर डिजिटल सार्वजनिक बुनियादी ढांचे को सफलतापूर्वक तैयार किया है.

एआई समिट में चीन को पड़ी लताड़: एआई समिट में अमेरिका ने चीन को जमकर सुना दिया. साथ ही यूरोपीय संघ में शामिल अपने दोस्तों को भी उससे सतर्क रहने की सलाह दे डाली. इस समिट में अमेरिका ने एक तरह से जता दिया कि एआई के क्षेत्र में भी "बॉस" तो वही है. अमेरिकी उपराष्ट्रपति जेडी जेडी वेन्स (US Vice President JD Vance) ने सोमवार को टेक्नोलॉजी पर चल रहे पेरिस शिखर सम्मेलन (Paris Summit) में सभी देशों को आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलीजेंस (AI) पर अत्यधिक रेगुलेशंस लगाने के विचार पर चेतावनी दी. उन्होंने यूरोपीय सहयोगियों और चीन जैसे प्रतिद्वंद्वियों को आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलीजेंस के मामले में सरकारी पकड़ मजबूत करने पर चेतावनी दी.

दुनिया के टॉप सीइओ से पीएम मोदी ने की बात: प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने गूगल के CEO सुंदर पिचाई से पेरिस में मुलाकात की. इस मुलाकात के दौरान पीएम मोदी ने सुंदर पिचाई को भारत आने और एआई के क्षेत्र निवेश कर युवाओं पर दांव लगाने की बात कही है. पीएम मोदी ने पिचाई से मुलाकात के बाद एक सोशल मीडिया पोस्ट भी किया. इस पोस्ट में उन्होंने लिखा कि आपसे मिलकर खुशी हुई सुंदर पिचाई. भारत एआई में उल्लेखनीय प्रगति कर रहा है और इसका उपयोग जनता की भलाई के लिए कर रहा है. हम दुनिया से आग्रह करते हैं कि वे आएं और हमारे देश में निवेश करें और हमारी युवा शक्ति पर दांव लगाएं! 

वाणिज्य दूतावास का उद्धाटन: प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी और फ्रांस के राष्ट्रपति इमैनुएल मैक्रों ने बुधवार को संयुक्त रूप से मासे शहर में भारत के नए वाणिज्य दूतावास का उद्घाटन किया.  प्रधानमंत्री मोदी राष्ट्रपति मैक्रों के निमंत्रण पर फिलहाल फ्रांस के दौरे पर हैं. दोनों नेताओं ने बटन दबाकर संयुक्त रूप से मासे शहर में नए वाणिज्य दूतावास का उद्घाटन किया. मासे में भारत के नए वाणिज्य दूतावास को बेहद महत्वपूर्ण माना जा रहा है. भारत ने इस दूतावास को खोलने की घोषणा 2023 में मोदी के फ्रांस दौरे के दौरान की थी. यह दूतावास दक्षिणी फ्रांस में बसे भारतीय प्रवासी समुदाय को सेवाएं प्रदान करेगा. इससे लोगों को पेरिस जाकर कांसुलर कार्य करवाने की जरूरत नहीं पड़ेगी.

मोदी और मैक्रों ने दोनों देशों के बीच व्यापार एवं निवेश संबंधों को बढ़ावा देने का आह्वान किया। उन्होंने हिंद-प्रशांत और विभिन्न वैश्विक मंचों एवं पहल में अपनी भागीदारी को और गहरा करने की प्रतिबद्धता भी जताई. एक बयान के अनुसार, दोनों नेताओं ने पिछले साल अंतरराष्ट्रीय कक्षा योजना की सफल शुरुआत का स्वागत किया. इस योजना के तहत भारतीय छात्रों को फ्रांस में उनके चुने हुए पाठ्यक्रम में दाखिला देने से पहले, प्रतिष्ठित फ्रांसीसी विश्वविद्यालयों में फ्रांस की भाषा फ्रेंच सिखाई जाती है और स्थानीय कार्यप्रणाली के बारे में पढ़ाया जाता है.

Man Unknowingly Consumes Fish Gall Bladder, Spends A Week In Hospital

A 42-year-old man's condition deteriorated so much that he had to be hospitalised for a week after unknowingly consuming fish gall bladder in Indore, a doctor said on Wednesday.

Dr Jai Singh Arora, a nephrologist at a private hospital here, told PTI that the man started throwing up and suffered from diarrhoea after he ate fish gall bladder without realising that he had ingested the organ that stores bile produced by the liver.

His family thought it was a case of food poisoning until investigations pointed to something serious. Along with his serum creatinine, an indicator of kidney functions, the levels of two liver enzymes - SGOT and SGPT - had shot up dangerously, the doctor said.

"The patient came to us in a critical condition. He was admitted to the hospital for a week. Even after this, his treatment continued. At present, he is healthy," Arora said.

The fish gall bladder contains a poisonous chemical called sodium cyprinol sulfate, which can rapidly damage the liver and kidneys if ingested by humans, he added.

Army, Navy Chief At Adani Defence And Aerospace Stall At Aero India 2025

The Adani Defence and Aerospace stalls at the ongoing Aero India 2025 found itself in the spotlight on Wednesday as Army chief General Upendra Dwivedi and Navy chief Admiral DK Tripathi paid a visit and got first-hand information on the futuristic state-of-the art weaponry on display.

General Upendra Dwivedi and Fleet chief Admiral DK Tripathi were briefed by Adani Defence & Aerospace CEO Ashish Rajvanshi about the weaponry on display and also about the firm's thrust on developing futuristic technology.

Notably, the Adani Defence and Aerospace stall, showcasing futuristic technology, is one of the main attractions at Asia's largest five-day air show titled ‘Aero India 2025', currently underway in Bengaluru.

Focussing on cutting-edge technology, the stall features state-of-the-art weaponry. The highlight of the display is the ‘Vehicle-Mounted Counter-Drone System', developed in collaboration with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).

The stall is giving a peek into futuristic weaponry across four layers of defence, covering protection, detection, neutralisation, and the use of artificial intelligence in safeguarding national borders.

Ashish Raghuvanshi, CEO of Adani Defence and Aerospace, speaking to IANS, said: "All the capabilities we are working on are on display at the exhibition. From drones to small arms, ammunition, missiles, surface-guided missiles, and most importantly, artificial intelligence and advanced machinery, Adani Group has been working closely with the defence department."

He further stated: "Today, every flying object is a threat. We are developing nano to mini to micro drones, which will deter and neutralise these flying threats. We are focusing on developing critical capabilities, including electronic warfare."

The last time, the Army chief's participation in Aero Show made news was when he took a sortie along with Air Force chief AP Singh on Tejas fighter aircraft, before the beginning of the mega event.

The two chiefs of Armed Forces flew for about 45 minutes in the homegrown Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas, with Army chief taking the pilot seat while the latter giving company as co-pilot.

माइकल कुगेलमैन ने कहा, "यह इस अर्थ में एक बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण बैठक है कि पीएम मोदी राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप से मिलने वाले दुनिया के चौथे नेता होंगे. हमने विश्व नेताओं को इस नए प्रशासन और नए राष्ट्रपति के साथ मिलने के लिए आपस में प्रतिस्पर्धा करते हुए देखा है. तथ्य यह है कि प्रधानमंत्री मोदी को ट्रंप प्रशासन ने सत्ता में आने के कुछ ही हफ्तों के भीतर ही अमेरिका आने के लिए आमंत्रित कर दिया है. मुझे लगता है कि यह काफी महत्वपूर्ण है और यह अमेरिका-भारत साझेदारी के महत्व को बताता है."

क्या होगा इस बार

कुगेलमैन ने आगे कहा, "यह इस मायने में थोड़ी असामान्य बैठक होगी कि ट्रंप प्रशासन के लिए ये शुरुआती दिन हैं. उन्हें वास्तव में भारत के प्रति अपने दृष्टिकोण पर ध्यान केंद्रित करने का अवसर नहीं मिला है. ट्रंप प्रशासन में भारत पर केंद्रित कई प्रमुख पद भी रिक्त हैं, जिन्हें अभी तक नहीं भरा गया है. यह देखते हुए मुझे लगता है कि यह यात्रा जल्दी में हो रही है और यह एक कामकाजी यात्रा है, न कि राजकीय यात्रा."

क्या कोई डील होगी

माइकल कुगेलमैन ने कहा, "मुझे नहीं लगता कि इसमें कोई ठोस बातचीत होगी, जिससे बड़े सौदे या ऐसा कुछ हो सके. लेकिन यह इन दोनों नेताओं के लिए एक-दूसरे को अच्छी तरह से जानने और एक-दूसरे को पसंद करने, अपनी दोस्ती को फिर से स्थापित करने और आने वाले वर्षों के लिए प्राथमिकताओं के बारे में बात करने का एक महत्वपूर्ण अवसर होगा."

In France, PM Modi To Pay Tribute To Indian Soldiers Killed In World Wars

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the Mazargues War Cemetery in France's Marseille tomorrow. The cemetery contains a memorial that honours the memory of Indian soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice while defending foreign lands during the World Wars.

As a tribute to their valour and sacrifice, PM Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron will lay a wreath at the cemetery, reaffirming the deep historical ties between India and France.

PM Modi came to France to attend the AI Action Summit.

PM Modi will also visit the ITER site tomorrow - the home of the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER). It is a significant step in harnessing nuclear energy for global good.

The prime minister has been a staunch proponent of giving due respect to soldiers, especially those whose sacrifices may have been forgotten over the years since they lay down their lives far away from the motherland. 

During his visit to Australia in November 2014 , PM Modi paid homage to martyrs at the Australian War Memorial, in Canberra. At the memorial, he presented the Man Singh Trophy, a prized possession of Sikh regiment battalions, to his Australian counterpart Tony Abbott.

The trophy originally in silver was presented to the Officers' Mess 14 (King George's own) Sikhs in 1919.

The officers of the battalion, who served in the unit during World War I in Egypt, Gallipoli, Sinai and Mesopotamia from October 1914 to May 1917, had made it in commemoration of the gallant actions of their soldiers.

In April 2015, PM Modi paid homage to Indian soldiers at the World War I memorial in Neuve-Chapelle in France. He became the first Indian prime minister to do so.

In November 2015, PM Modi paid homage at the INA Memorial Marker in Singapore, and also became the first Indian prime minister to do so. In July 2017, PM Modi visited the Indian War Cemetery in Haifa, Israel and paid respect to soldiers.

Later on, in his Mann Ki Baat address in September 2018, he spoke about the centenary of the Battle of Haifa in Israel and paid tributes to our brave soldiers of Mysore, Hyderabad and Jodhpur Lancers who had freed Haifa from the clutches of oppressors during World War I.

In October 2018, PM Modi spoke about the contribution of Indian soldiers in World War I.

"We had no direct connection with that war. Despite this, our soldiers fought bravely and played a very big role and made the supreme sacrifice. Our soldiers have displayed great valour in difficult areas and adverse conditions," PM Modi said.

In June 2023, PM Modi visited the Heliopolis Commonwealth War Grave Cemetery in Cairo during his state visit to Egypt. He paid homage to over 4,300 valiant Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives in Egypt and Aden during World War I.

In August 2024, PM Modi laid a wreath and paid tribute at the monument to the Battle of Monte Cassino in Warsaw, Poland. This monument commemorates the sacrifice and valour of soldiers from Poland, India and other countries who fought alongside each other in the famous Battle of Monte Cassino in Italy during World War II.

Water From Toilet Tap Used To Cook At Medical College? Video Sparks Outrage

A video from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur has sparked outrage after it allegedly showed water from a toilet tap being used for cooking during a national medical conference last week.

A national-level medical conference, attended by doctors and medical experts from across the country, was held at the medical college on February 6. During the event, food was arranged for participants. However, a viral video now circulating on social media appears to show water being filled from a toilet tap and then being used for cooking.

Amid the uproar, the medical college's administration has issued a clarification. The college's dean, Navneet Saxena said that the water was only being used to clean dirty utensils and not for cooking. He claimed that the context of the video was being misrepresented.

The health department has called for an investigation. Dr Sanjay Mishra, Chief Medical Officer, said, "The conference was organised in the New Academic Block and food is sometimes cooked in open spaces behind it. While the video shows water from a toilet tap being used, the information we have suggests it was meant only for washing utensils. However, since this has been brought to our notice, I have written to the dean for an official investigation."

Rahul Gandhi Summoned By Court For Alleged Remarks Against Indian Army

Congress's Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has been summoned by a court in Lucknow in connection with his alleged derogatory remarks against the Indian Army during his Bharat Jodo Yatra.

Mr Gandhi will have to appear before the Lucknow MP MLA court -- a special court that can try cases against MPs and MLAs -- in the last week of March. 

Former director of Border Road Organization or BRO Uday Shankar Srivastava had filed the complaint against Mr Gandhi on basis of which the defamation case was registered. 

Mr Gandhi had apparently made the remarks on the Indian Army during his Bharat Jodo Yatra in December 2022.

The comment that "Chinese soldiers are beating up Indian Army personnel in Arunachal Pradesh" - a dig at the government over Chinese action at the Line of Actual Control -- drew sharp criticism from many quarters and led to a massive political row.

Many BJP leaders had declared that Mr Gandhi as anti-national, accused his family of receiving Chinese hospitality and funds in the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation.

It did not deter Mr Gandhi who continued to target the government over the China issue. 

In March 2023, Mr Gandhi was barred from attending for a while after he was found guilty in a defamation case for a remark targetting Prime Minister M Narendra Modi over his last name. The Gujarat court which was hearing the case, sentenced him to a two-year jail term. 

Though the sentence was suspended, the duration was exactly what was needed to bar leaders from parliament, the Opposition pointed out, calling it a conspiracy against the Congress leader. 

Mr Gandhi later received relief from the Supreme Court, which put his conviction on hold, pointing out that the trial judge has awarded the maximum sentence of two years in the case. If the sentence was a day lesser, it would not have attracted disqualification, the court had added in its judgment.
