Panic gripped people due to gas leakage at an industrial unit in the Vishwakarma industrial area here on Tuesday, officials said, adding no casualties occurred. The incident happened at the Ajmera gas plant where two big tankers were installed for the storage of CO2 gas. The valve of the tanker broke due to gas pressure, Assistant Fire Officer, Vishwakarma, Bhanwar Singh Hada said. He said that the situation was completely controlled by the fire brigade. The leakage led to zero visibility in the area, officials said. SHO Rajendra Sharma said gas was filled in a tanker of the plant on Saturday. He said that a police team reached the spot with fire brigade and got the main valve of the plant closed to stop the leakage. With an average Air Quality Index of 294, Delhi has recorded its cleanest December air since the introduction of the AQI system in 2015. This improvement can be attributed to strong, consistent winds in the first half of the month and record-breaking rainfall in the second, officials said. According to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), December marked Delhi's cleanest first half ever, with only one 'very poor' air day recorded between December 1 and December 15. On Monday, the AQI stood at 173, in the "moderate" category, a significant improvement from Sunday's 225 (poor). This marked the eighth moderate air quality day this month, with the capital previously recording no more than three moderate days in December. The lowest AQI of this month was recorded on December 28, at 139, marking the cleanest December day on record. The average AQI during this period stood at 238, significantly lower than the usual AQI of over 300 for this time ...

दिल्ली पुलिस ने फर्जी दस्तावेजों के जरिए वोटर रजिस्ट्रेशन करने के आरोप में 6 व्यक्तियों को गिरफ्तार किया है. गिरफ्तार आरोपियों में से कुछ लोग फर्जी दस्तावेज बनाने में शामिल थे. पुलिस के अनुसार आरोपियों द्वारा जाली दस्तावेज बनाने के लिए एक सीपीयू का उपयोग किया जा रहा था. शाहीन बाग थाने में इस मामले में दो अलग-अलग केस दर्ज किए गए हैं. पुलिस ने मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी है और गिरफ्तार किए गए आरोपियों से पूछताछ की जा रही है. बीते 25 दिसंबर को ओखला विधान सभा क्षेत्र के  निर्वाचन पंजीकरण अधिकारी (ईआरओ) विनोद कुमार ने  शाहीन बाग में शिकायत दर्ज कराई थी. शिकायत में उन्होंने कहा था कि चार लोगों ने जाली दस्तावेजों का उपयोग करके मतदाता पहचान पत्र में पता बदलने के लिए आवेदन किया था. इसके बाद 29 दिसंबर को  एक और शिकायत विनोद कुमार, ईआरओ,ओखला विधान सभा से मिली  कि फर्जी दस्तावेजों का उपयोग करके मतदाता पंजीकरण के कार्यालय में नए मतदाता पंजीकरण के लिए 4 आवेदन प्राप्त हुए हैं. फिर दिल्ली के शाहीन बाग थाने में 2 केस दर्ज किए गए. दिल्ली पुलिस ने फर्जी दस्तावेजों के जरिए वोटर रजिस्ट्रे...
