पंजाब में अमृतसर के बाबा बकाला इलाके के बुल्ले नांगल गांव में एक व्यक्ति ने कथित तौर पर अपनी 23-वर्षीया गर्भवती पत्नी को बिस्तर से बांधकर जिंदा जला दिया. पुलिस ने रविवार को यह जानकारी दी.
पुलिस ने बताया कि शुक्रवार को सुखदेव सिंह ने अपनी पत्नी से झगड़े के बाद उसे जलाकर मार डाला. उसने बताया कि सुखदेव ने अपनी पत्नी पिंकी को बिस्तर से बांध दिया और आग लगा दी. पिंकी छह महीने की गर्भवती थी और उसे जुड़वा संतान होने की उम्मीद थी.
गांव के सरपंच ने पुलिस को इस घटना की सूचना दी, लेकिन जब तक पुलिस पीड़िता के घर तक पहुंचती तब तक उसकी जलने से मौत हो चुकी थी....
