Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Sunday laid the foundation stone of a domestic airport in Ambala Cantonment, saying it will not only improve connectivity but also spur economic activity.
The civil enclave -- a military airbase area allotted for civil aviation use -- was sanctioned under the UDAN scheme. Haryana Bureaucrat Arrested On Corruption Charges, 2nd Case In A Week
Haryana's Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested an IAS officer, Jaibir Singh, for allegedly demanding a bribe to sanction a transfer, an official spokesperson said on Thursday.
Jaibir Singh, who is posted as the managing director of the Haryana State Warehousing Corporation, is the second bureaucrat to be arrested in a corruption case in two days.

The Odisha Police on Wednesday arrested a person and detained four minor boys for their alleged involvement in a "sextortion" racket being operated through dating apps.
