Amid confusion over the Congress' stance on the Centre's Delhi ordinance, AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal told Rahul Gandhi to forget the differences and move forward together at the opposition meeting in Patna, AAP sources said on Saturday. "Arvind Kejriwal spoke directly to Rahul Gandhi (on the ordinance matter) and said if there is any issue, they can resolve it over tea. In the opposition meeting on Friday, Kejriwal said there is a need to forget the differences and move forward together," a party source said. उत्तर प्रदेश बोर्ड ने अपने पाठ्यक्रम में अहम बदलाव किया है. बोर्ड ने फैसला किया है कि अब से छात्रों को सावरकर समेत 50 महापुरुषों की जीवन गाथा से रूबरू कराया जाएगा. बोर्ड की तरफ से जिन महापुरुषों की जीवन गाथा को पाठ्यक्रम में शामिल करने का फैसला किया गया है उनमें खास तौर पर विनायक दामोदर सावरकर, पंडित दीनदयान उपाध्याय, महावीर जैन, भारत रत्न पंडित मदन मोहन मालवीय, अरविंद घोष, राजा राम मोहन राय, सरोजनी नायडू और नाना साहब शामिल हैं.  बोर्ड ने इन महापुरुषों की जीवन गाथा को नैतिक, योग, खेल एवं शारीरिक शिक्षा विषय में शामिल किया गया है. मिल रही जानकारी के अनुसार जुलाई से स्कूलों में शुरू होने वाले पाठ्यक्रम में इस नए बदलाव को शामिल किया गया है. पाठ्यक्रम में जोड़े गए नए विषय सभी स्कूलों के लिए अनिवार्य किए गए हैं. लिहाजा, अब छात्रों को इन विषय में भी पास होना जरूरी है. हालांकि इसके अंक हाईस्कूल और इंटरमीडिएट के अंकपत्र में शामिल नहीं होंगे.  बता दें कि इन महापुरुषों के नाम को पाठ्यक्रम में शामिल करने को लेकर यूपी बोर्ड में लंबे समय से कवायद चल रही थी. यूपी बोर्ड के विषय विशेषज्ञों ...

Union minister and BJP leader Anurag Thakur took a swipe at the opposition parties' meeting in Patna on Friday, saying a key resolution adopted by the leaders was about the marriage of Rahul Gandhi "much to the annoyance of mummy ji". Anurag Thakur described the meeting as a "drama" that was being staged ahead of the Lok Sabha elections next year and exuded confidence about Prime Minister Narendra Modi's third consecutive victory. "The stage is getting decorated ahead of the 2024 elections, the artistes have started gathering, the characters are being finalised. Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav on Thursday said the Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh has enough prey base for the cheetahs living there and there is no plan as of now to shift the cats anywhere else. He, however, said the Gandhi Sagar wildlife sanctuary in northwestern Madhya Pradesh has been identified as an "alternative site" in case any problem emerges at Kuno in the future. "But there is no plan to shift the cheetahs anywhere else for now," Bhupender Yadav told a press conference where he listed the achievements of his ministry in the nine years of the government. He said the cheetahs are adapting to the weather and the habitat and establishing their territories and "we should give them time to do that". मणिपुर में बीते कुछ दिनों से रुक रुक कर हो रही हिंसा के बाद बुधवार की शाम एक बम धमाका हुआ है. अभी तक मिल रही जानकारी के अनुसार इस धमाके में तीन लोग घायल हुए हैं.धमाके में घायल हुए लोगों को पास के अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है. मिल रही जानकारी के अनुसार धमाके में जो तीन लोग घायल हुए हैं उनमें से एक की हालत गंभीर बनी हुई है. पुलिस के अनुसार क्वाक्टा में यह बम धमाका शाम साढ़े सात बजे हुआ है. इस धमाके के लिए एक एसयूवी कार का इस्तेमाल किया गया था. पुलिस फिलहाल इस पूरे मामले की जांच में जुटी है.  उग्रवादियों के बंकर को नष्ट किया गया बम को एक एसयूवी कार में रखा गया था. बता दें कि क्वाक्टा राज्य के सबसे खराब हिंसा प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में से एक है. इस घमाके में घायल हुए तीन लोगों में से एक की हालत गंभीर बनी हुई है. सभी घायलों का फिलहाल इलाज चल रहा है. इस धमाके के बाद अधिकारियों ने कहा कि संयुक्त सुरक्षा बलों ने बुधवार को इंफाल पश्चिम जिले के लीमाखोंग इलाके में कथित तौर पर विद्रोहियों द्वारा इस्तेमाल किए गए एक बंकर को नष्ट कर दिया है.  इंप्रोवाइज्ड एक्सप्लोसिव डिवाइस का हुआ इस्त...
