आईफोन बनाने वाली कंपनी एप्पल के मुख्य कार्यपालक अधिकारी टिम कुक ने दोबारा भारत आने की इच्छा जताते हुए पांच दिनों की अपनी यात्रा का समापन किया. कुक भारत में एप्पल की मौजूदगी के 25 वर्ष पूरा होने के मौके पर आए थे. इस दौरान उन्होंने मुंबई में एप्पल के पहले आधिकारिक स्टोर का उद्घाटन करने के अलावा दिल्ली में भी एप्पल के स्टोर पर ग्राहकों का स्वागत किया.
टिम कुक ने अपनी यात्रा पूरी होने पर एक ट्वीट में कहा, ‘‘भारत में कितना शानदार सप्ताह रहा! देश में हमारी जो टीमें हैं उनका शुक्रिया. मुझे यहां दोबारा आने का इंतजार रहेगा.''

Scientists' Open Letter After NCERT Drops Evolution From Class 10 Textbook
A group of more than 1,800 scientists, science teachers and educators has written an open letter raising concerns about the chapter on "Theory of Biological Evolution" being dropped from the NCERT textbook for Class 10.
The signatories to the letter include scientists from noted institutions such as the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) and IITs, among others.

Maharashtra Board Schools To Close From Today Over Heat Wave Conditions
All schools affiliated to the state board in Maharashtra will remain closed from Friday in view of the heat wave conditions, the government said.
Schools of other boards can take decision about closure after considering their curriculum and activities, said the order issued by the School Education Department on Thursday.
Except for Vidarbha, schools in the state will reopen on June 15. Those in Vidarbha will restart from June 30, the order said.
