मुंबई में कोरोना वायरस संक्रमित मरीजों की संख्या बढ़ने के कारण कोविड वॉर रूम फिर एक्टिव हो गए हैं. मुंबई में 50 प्रतिशत कोविड मरीज ऑक्सीजन सपोर्ट पर हैं. पॉजिटिविटी रेट 11 प्रतिशत से ऊपर है. ऐसे में सभी वार्डों के कोविड वॉर रूम अलर्ट पर हैं. बूस्टर डोज और टेस्टिंग से लोगों की हिचक दूर करना बड़ी चुनौती है.  मुंबई शहर के हर वॉर्ड में कोविड वॉर रूम फिर से एक्टिव हो गए हैं. कोविड बेड मैनेजमेंट, पेशेंट काउंसलिंग वगैरह सारा जिम्मा यही वॉर रूम संभालते हैं. फ़िलहाल बिना लक्षणों वाले मरीज़ ज़्यादा हैं.  बीएमसी के एफ साउथ वॉर्ड की मेडिकल ऑफिसर डॉ वैशाली खाड़े ने कहा कि,‘'दस में से छह मरीज असिम्पटोमेटिक हैं. दोनों जगह स्लम और नॉन स्लम से मरीज आ रहे हैं.'' मुंबई में कोविड पॉजिटिविटी रेट 11 प्रतिशत से ऊपर है. लोगों में कोरोना टेस्टिंग को लेकर हिचक है. इस वजह से टेस्टिंग कम है और पॉजिटिविटी ज़्यादा दिखती है. शहर की 15 फीसदी जनसंख्या ने ही बूस्टर डोज़ ली है. यह भी बीएमसी के सामने बड़ी चुनौती है.  असिस्टेंट मेडिकल ऑफिसर डॉ जुनैद शेख ने कहा कि,‘'टेस्टिंग में हिचक है, मना रहे हैं...

The Union Cabinet on Thursday approved the Indian Space Policy, 2023 under which roles and responsibilities of organisations such as ISRO, NewSpace India Limited and private sector entities have been laid down. The government had earlier opened up the space sector for the private sector to help boost development of the segment. "In brief, it will offer clarity in the role of the components set up (in the recent past)," Union minister Jitendra Singh told reporters here. He said the policy will aim to enhance the role of Department of Space, boost activities of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) missions and give a larger participation of research, academia, startups and industry. The Gautam Buddh Nagar district administration has said it will launch a crackdown on real estate defaulters from Friday, noting that over Rs 500 crore are to be recovered from developers against whom the Uttar Pradesh real estate authority has issued notices. District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma, who took charge last month, said " munaadi " (beat of drum) will be carried out against the builders over the next two days for the recovery of dues towards the Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA). After this, the defaulters would be further "named and shamed" and coercive action -- including attachment and auction of their properties -- will follow in accordance with the law, Mr Verma told reporters. In a significant victory, India has overwhelmingly been elected to the UN Statistical Commission for a four-year period in a "competitive" election in which China and South Korea are still vying for the remaining seat from the Asia Pacific category. India secured an overwhelming 46 out of 53 votes. A second candidate is yet to be decided between South Korea and China and the balloting process will resume later in the day for electing the remaining Asia Pacific States member.
