शेयर बाजारों में सकारात्मक रुख के बीच अदाणी समूह की दस सूचीबद्ध कंपनियों में से सात के शेयर शुक्रवार को बढ़त के साथ बंद हुए. समूह की प्रमुख कंपनी अदाणी एंटरप्राइजेज का शेयर भी दो प्रतिशत चढ़ गया. अदाणी एंटरप्राइजेज समेत समूह की सात कंपनियों के शेयर लाभ के साथ बंद हुए, जबकि तीन में नुकसान रहा. बीएसई पर अदाणी एंटरप्राइजेज का शेयर 1.88 प्रतिशत बढ़कर 1,877.15 रुपये पर बंद हुआ. इसका बाजार मूल्यांकन बढ़कर 2.13 लाख करोड़ रुपये हो गया. इसके अलावा अदाणी ट्रांसमिशन का शेयर 1,024.85 रुपये और अदाणी ग्रीन एनर्जी 816.80 रुपये पर बंद हुआ. इन कंपनियों के शेयरों में पांच-पांच प्रतिशत की बढ़त हुई. इन कंपनियों के शेयरों ने बीएसई पर अपने ऊपरी सर्किट को छुआ. वहीं अदाणी विल्मर का शेयर 1.52 प्रतिशत उछलकर 427.35 रुपये पर, अदाणी टोटल गैस 1.07 प्रतिशत बढ़कर 897.95 रुपये पर और अदाणी पावर 0.60 प्रतिशत बढ़कर 199.95 रुपये पर बंद हुआ. साथ ही, बीएसई पर अदाणी पोर्ट्स एंड स्पेशल इकॉनमिक जोन का शेयर 0.14 प्रतिशत की बढ़त के साथ 680.10 रुपये पर बंद हुआ. दूसरी ओर, एनडीटीवी 1.63 प्रतिशत गिरकर 205.70 रुपये पर, एसीसी 1.3...

The Delhi High Court on Thursday restrained the Income Tax Department from proceeding further on the show cause notice issued to Rajya Sabha MP and senior advocate Kapil Sibal in relation to the assessment proceedings pending against him. A bench of Justice Rajiv Shakdher and Justice Tara Vitasta Ganju issued a notice and asked the income tax authorities to file a response on the petition of the former Congress leader. "We are of the view that since the impugned notice has been challenged on jurisdiction as well as on the breach of principles of natural justice, it would require some amount of deliberation," the bench said. "In the meanwhile, the concerned officer will stay his hands vis-a-vis the show cause notice of March 11, 2023," it added. A 42-year-old man was trampled to death by a wild elephant in Nagaon district of Assam, a senior official said on Wednesday. His minor son sustained critical injuries in the attack, he said. According to the senior district administration official, the incident took place at Rekapahar Reserve Forest area in Kaliabar sub-division of the district on Tuesday when the father-son duo was returning home on a bicycle. "They were suddenly attacked by the wild elephant, which came out of a nearby jungle," the official said. After getting information, forest and police officials reached the spot, and rushed them to Nagaon Civil Hospital, where doctors declared the 42-year-old man dead, he said. The minor son is undergoing treatment at a local hospital, the official added.
