लालू प्रसाद यादव के रिश्तेदारों और करीबियों के घरों में ED का छापा, RJD ने जताई आपत्ति

राष्ट्रीय जनता दल (RJD) ने शुक्रवार को प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ED) द्वारा पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष लालू प्रसाद यादव (Lalu Prasad Yadav) के परिवार के सदस्यों और करीबी सहयोगियों के परिसरों पर की गई छापेमारी पर रोष व्यक्त किया है. आरजेडी के नेताओं ने आरोप लगाया कि केंद्र में सत्तासीन बीजेपी राजनीतिक विरोधियों के साथ हिसाब चुकता करने के लिए सीबीआई ईडी और आयकर विभाग जैसी एजेंसियों को ‘‘स्क्रिप्ट'' प्रदान कर रही थी.

राज्यसभा सांसद और आरजेडी के राष्ट्रीय प्रवक्ता मनोज कुमार झा ने आरोप लगाया कि केंद्रीय एजेंसियां “उपहास का पात्र” बन गई हैं. उन्होंने कहा, ‘‘बीजेपी पिछले साल अगस्त में बिहार में सत्ता गंवाने के सदमे से उबर नहीं पा रही है.” उन्होंने आरोप लगाया, “ऐसा लगता है कि सेवानिवृत्ति के बाद मलाईदार पद की इच्छा रखने वाले केंद्रीय एजेंसियों के कुछ अधिकारियों ने बीजेपी के दिमाग में यह विचार भर दिया है कि वे महागठबंधन को अस्थिर कर सकते हैं. लेकिन बीजेपी को पता होना चाहिए कि महागठबंधन बहुत मजबूत है.”

मनोज झा ने कहा, “इसके अलावा उसे याद रखना चाहिए कि यह हमेशा के लिए सत्ता में नहीं रहेगी. कोई दूसरा शासन भविष्य में बीजेपी के साथ वही करने के बारे में सोच सकता है, जो वह अपने विरोधियों के साथ कर रही है. पार्टी को यह समझना चाहिए और एजेंसियों को उसकी पटकथा का पालन करने के लिए कहना बंद करना चाहिए.”

उन्होंने कहा कि छापेमारी उस समय से संबंधित नौकरियों के लिए भूमि घोटाले के संबंध में की जा रही है. जब प्रसाद यूपीए सरकार के पहले कार्यकाल में रेल मंत्री थे. जिन लोगों के परिसरों पर छापा मारा गया है, उनमें प्रसाद की बेटियां रोहिणी और हेमा के अलावा उनके छोटे बेटे और बिहार के उप मुख्यमंत्री तेजस्वी यादव के ससुराल वाले भी शामिल हैं.

पटना में आरजेडी के एक पूर्व विधायक अबू दोजाना के हारून नगर आवास और एसपी वर्मा रोड आवास पर छापे मारे गए. दोजाना पर लालू यादव के बेनामी लेनदेन में सहायक होने का आरोप लगता रहा है. दोजाना कुछ समय के लिए अपने महलनुमा घर की बालकनी पर आकर बाहर खड़े मीडियाकर्मियों से कहा, ‘‘मुझे नहीं पता कि ये लोग मेरे घर पर क्या खोजने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं. मैं इतना ही जानता हूं कि हम भाजपा के सामने न झुकने की कीमत चुका रहे हैं.''

आरजेडी के वरिष्ठ नेता और विधानसभा के पूर्व अध्यक्ष उदय नारायण चौधरी ने कहा, ‘‘कुछ दिन पहले ही सीबीआई पूछताछ के लिए राबड़ी देवी दिल्ली गई थीं. मुझे हैरानी होती है कि ये केंद्रीय एजेंसियां भ्रष्टाचार के संदिग्ध बीजेपी नेताओं के खिलाफ कार्रवाई क्यों नहीं करती हैं.”

महागठबंधन सरकार को बाहर से समर्थन देने वाली भाकपा-माले ने भी कहा कि छापेमारी निस्संदेह बीजेपी के राजनीतिक प्रतिशोध का एक उदाहरण है जो बिहार में नई सरकार को अस्थिर करने की कोशिश कर रही है. भाकपा-माले के राज्य सचिव कुणाल के कहा कि कई बार केंद्रीय एजेंसियों ने लालू प्रसाद, उनके परिवार के सदस्यों और करीबी सहयोगियों पर छापा मारा और उनसे पूछताछ की. लेकिन कुछ भी नहीं मिला है. उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि यहां तक कि तमिलनाडु में प्रवासियों पर हमलों की अफवाह भी बीजेपी की करतूत थी जो अपने विरोधियों को सत्ता में रहना बर्दाश्त नहीं कर सकती.

इस बीच बीजेपी के प्रवक्ता प्रेम रंजन पटेल ने राजनीतिक प्रतिशोध के आरोपों को खारिज किया. बिहार के मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार, ओडिशा के मुख्यमंत्री नवीन पटनायक, बसपा सुप्रीमो मायावती और पंजाब में अकाली दल के नेताओं के उदाहरणों का हवाला देते हुए कहा कि केवल गलत काम के दोषी लोगों के खिलाफ ही केंद्रीय एजेंसियां कार्रवाई करती हैं.

उन्होंने हाल ही में दिल्ली के पूर्व उपमुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया के खिलाफ सीबीआई की कार्रवाई के विरोध में कई विपक्षी दलों द्वारा प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी को भेजे गए पत्र पर हस्ताक्षर करने से नीतीश कुमार के इनकार करने को लेकर उनकी प्रशंसा की.

Air Force To Buy 6 Upgraded Dornier Aircraft From HAL

The defence ministry on Friday sealed a deal with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) to procure six Dornier aircraft at a cost of Rs 667 crore for the Indian Air Force.

The addition of the six aircraft will further bolster the operational capability of the IAF in remote areas, the defence ministry said announcing the contract.

The Dornier-228 aircraft is a highly versatile multi-purpose light transport aircraft.

It has been developed specifically to meet the manifold requirements of utility and commuter transport as well as for maritime surveillance.

The aircraft will have an upgraded fuel-efficient engine coupled with a five-bladed composite propeller, the ministry said.

"The Ministry of Defence, on March 10, signed a contract for procurement of six Dornier-228 aircraft for the Indian Air Force from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) at a cost of Rs 667 crore," it said.

"The aircraft was used by IAF for route transport roles and communication duties. Subsequently, it has also been used for training of transport pilots of the IAF," it said.

The aircraft is ideally suited for short-haul operations from semi-prepared and short runways of the North East and island chains of India.

मध्यप्रदेश और राजस्थान को जोड़ने वाला नया वन्यजीव गलियारा बनेगा : ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया

केन्द्रीय पर्यटन मंत्री ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया ने बृहस्पतिवार को कहा कि मध्य प्रदेश के शिवपुरी जिले के माधव राष्ट्रीय उद्यान (एमएनपी) में तीन बाघ छोड़े जाने के बाद मध्य प्रदेश और राजस्थान के बीच एक नया वन्यजीव गलियारा बनेगा. उन्होंने यहां संवाददाताओं से कहा, ‘‘तीन बाघों को दस मार्च को एमएनपी में (बाड़ों) में छोड़ा जाएगा, जहां 27 साल से बाघ की दहाड़ सुनाई नहीं दी है.'' मध्य प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान, सिंधिया और प्रदेश के वन मंत्री विजय शाह के साथ एमएनपी में बाघों की आबादी को पुनर्जीवित करने के लिए भोपाल के एक संस्थान के परिसर से पकड़े गए एक बाघ और दो बाघिनों को बाड़ें में छोड़ा जाएगा.

शिवपुरी की सीमा श्योपुर जिले से लगती है, जहां कुनो नेशनल पार्क है, जो नामीबिया और दक्षिण अफ्रीका से लाए गए 20 चीतों का नया घर है. सिंधिया ने कहा कि तीन बाघों के फिर से आने से एमएनपी, कुनो नेशनल पार्क, पन्ना टाइगर रिजर्व (सभी मध्य प्रदेश में हैं) और राजस्थान में रणथंभौर टाइगर रिजर्व को जोड़ने वाला एक वन्यजीव गलियारा बन जाएगा. केन्द्रीय मंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने केएनपी में चीतों को फिर से पेश करके केएनपी को दुनिया भर में लोकप्रिय बना दिया है.

एमएनपी के निदेशक उत्तम शर्मा ने पीटीआई-भाषा को बताया कि अक्टूबर में मौलाना आजाद राष्ट्रीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान (मैनिट) के परिसर से पकड़े गए एक बाघ को सतपुड़ा टाइगर रिजर्व से लाया जाएगा, जबकि दो बाघिनों को पन्ना और बांधवगढ़ टाइगर रिजर्व से लाया जाएगा. बाघ को भोपाल में पकड़ने के बाद अक्टूबर में सतपुड़ा में छोड़ा गया था.

तीनों बाघों को कुछ समय के लिए अलग-अलग बाड़ों में रखने के बाद, एमएनपी में जंगल में छोड़ दिया जाएगा जो 375 वर्ग किलोमीटर में फैला हुआ है. अधिकारियों ने कहा कि यह तीसरी बार है जब मध्य प्रदेश वन विभाग एक वन्यजीव अभयारण्य में बाघ को फिर से लाने जा रहा है. उन्होंने कहा कि एमएनपी में वर्तमान में कोई बाघ नहीं है. उन्होंने कहा कि इससे पहले पन्ना बाघ अभयारण्य और सागर के नौरादेही वन्यजीव अभयारण्य में सफलतापूर्वक बाघों को बसाया जा चुका है. वन अधिकारियों के अनुसार एमएनपी में बाघों के लिए अच्छा शिकार उपलब्ध है इसलिए बाघों को यहां फिर से बसाने के कार्यक्रम को केंद्र द्वारा मंजूरी दी गई है.

उन्होंने कहा कि इन बाघों में रेडियो कॉलर लगाये जाएंगे. बाघों को जंगल में छोड़ने के बाद उनपर नजर रखने के लिए तीन दलों का गठन किया गया है. प्रधान वन संरक्षक ( वन्यजीव) सुभरंजन सेन ने कहा कि एक जमाने में एमएनपी में कई बाघ हुआ करते थे लेकिन 2010 के बाद से एमएनपी और उसके आसपास के इलाके में कोई बाघ नहीं देखा गया है. वन्यजीव विशेषज्ञों ने कहा कि एमएनपी में मुख्य तौर पर शिकार के कारण बाघ खत्म हो गए. रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, 2010-2012 में कुछ समय के लिए राजस्थान के बाघ एमएनपी के आसपास घूमते थे.

Bengal Government Employees To Go On Strike For Dearness Allowance Hike

In the view of some organisations of West Bengal government employees calling a strike on Friday demanding a hike in Dearness Allowance (DA), the Mamata Banerjee administration said no leave will be allowed on that day and the absence will be treated as a break in service.

According to an order issued by the state finance department on Thursday, all state government offices including those provided with grants-in-aid by the state such as educational institutions shall remain open on March 10 and all employees will report for duty on that day.

"No Casual Leave or any other kind of leave for absence either in the first half of the day or in the second half or for the whole day shall be granted to any employee on March 10," the order said.

"Absence of employees on that day will be treated as dies-non (break in service) and no salary will be admissible unless such absence is covered by hospitalisation of the employees or if there is bereavement in the family, severe illness and absence continuing prior to March 9," it said.

However, no action will be taken against employees who had been on Child Care Leave, Maternity Leave, Medical Leave and Earned Leave sanctioned before March 9, according to the order.

However, the protesting employees of 18 organisations, who have been demanding that their DA be raised to the level of what their counterparts in the central government get, stuck to the decision of holding the strike.

"Whatever step the government takes, we will observe the strike," said one of the leaders of the agitating bodies.

Earlier this week, they held a 48-hour pen-down agitation on this issue, ignoring warnings of action.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said at the assembly earlier this week that she would not be able to meet the demand for a DA hike even if the protesters "behead" her.

The government order on Thursday asked all heads of offices or controlling authorities concerned to issue show-cause notices to the employee who will remain absent on Friday.

"On receipt of satisfactory reply, leave due and admissible may be granted on production of documentary evidence on the grounds mentioned above," the order said.

Disciplinary action will be taken against those who will not be responding to the show-cause notice, the order stated.

वरिष्ठ कांग्रेस नेता और मध्य प्रदेश के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री दिग्विजय सिंह की गाड़ी ने गुरुवार को राजगढ़ में एक बाइक सवार को टक्कर मार दी. टक्‍कर लगने के बाद दिग्विजय ने न सिर्फ अपनी गाड़ी को रुकवाया बल्कि खुद घायल को स्थानीय अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया जहां से उसे भोपाल के चिरायु अस्पताल रेफर किया गया है. जानकारी के मुताबिक, घायल युवक की स्थिति स्थिर है.  दिग्विजय, कांग्रेस के जिला अध्यक्ष के कोडक्या गांव के घर पर शोक व्यक्त करने पहुंचे थे. 

दोपहर करीब 3:00 बजे जब वे निकले तो जीरापुर के पास बाइक सवार 20 साल का रामबाबू बागरी, काली फॉर्चुनर में सवार दिग्विजय सिंह की गाड़ी से टकराकर गिर गया. रामबाबू बागरी परोलिया का रहने वाला है. हादसा उस वक्‍त हुआ जब रामबाबू अपनी गाड़ी को मोड़ रहा था.

Centre Does Not Interfere In Working Of Probe Agencies: G Kishan Reddy

Union Minister G Kishan Reddy on Thursday hit back at BRS leader K Kavitha for her charge that the BJP-led Centre was "using" the ED to target leaders at the time of elections, saying she is being investigated in connection with a "scam" and that the government does not interfere in the functioning of probe agencies.

K Kavitha -- daughter of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao -- has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with a money laundering case linked to alleged irregularities in the Delhi excise policy scam case.

The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader at a presser attacked the BJP government at the Centre, alleging it of using the investigation agencies to target political parties and leaders who do not subscribe to its ideology. Since last June, the central government has been constantly sending agencies such as the ED to Telangana, she alleged.

The BJP leader at a press conference asked "If you (Kavitha) are innocent, why did you destroy cell phones in Delhi?" and alleged that "All your business friends have destroyed phones, 10-10 phones each have been destroyed, (you) answer that first".

Mr Reddy said the court will decide on the case. "(Prime Minister Narendra) Modiji has a lot of work, he is busy working for the nation. Probing a scam is the job of the agencies. We did not ask the CBI or ED to issue notices. If you have done something wrong, you will be caught," he said.

The Union minister said different people are found to be involved in the "liquor scam of the Delhi Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government". "This is the national capital, in which the AAP has openly looted thousands of crores (of rupees)," the Union tourism minister said.

"Some people are in jail. The CM's daughter has also been given a notice. She had requested for another date because she was participating in a protest over the women's reservation bill and she was given another date," Mr Reddy said.

Citing her demonstration in Delhi for passage of the bill in Parliament on March 10, 44-year-old Kavitha Kalvakuntla, who is a MLC, had requested the ED to defer her appearance before it from March 9. The agency has summoned her on March 11 to depose before it the case.

The BJP has nothing to do with the notice to the BRS leader, Mr Reddy said and added that "we don't interfere in functioning of investigating agencies". "Notice has been issued as part of the investigation," he asserted.

The Union minister alleged that people in Telangana are against the BRS government and in the next assembly election, it will not bag any seats.

"Today, the public of Telangana has decided that the BRS will not win the next election. KCR (Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao) will not win the next assembly election. The people of Telangana have decided that this 'Nizam Raj' and dictatorship has to end," he said.

Polls in the southern state are due later this year.

The chief minister's daughter will demonstrate for the passage of the women's reservation bill, then why for the past five years there have been no women ministers in the state, Mr Reddy asked.

"What right do you have to ask for women's reservation? You are just telling us stories," he said.
