Rahul Gandhi Will Be Invited For "Darshan" At Ram Temple: D Fadnavis

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said on Friday Congress leader Rahul Gandhi would be invited for a 'darshan' at the upcoming Ram temple in Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh.

Mr Fadnavis, a senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, made the comments a day after Union Home Minister Amit Shah attacked the Congress MP and announced the shrine would be ready by January 1 next year.

"Rahul Gandhi will be invited to have a darshan at the Ram temple," he told reporters here, replying to a query on Mr Shah's statement.

Devndra Fadnavis, who was in the Madhya Pradesh capital for a conference, said the construction of the Ram temple was going on at a brisk pace.

Addressing a rally in Tripura, Mr Shah said on Thursday, "Rahul baba, listen from Sabroom (in Tripura) that a mammoth Ram Mandir (in Ayodhya) will be ready on January 1, 2024." Assembly polls in the north-eastern state are due by March.

Recalling the jibes the Bharatiya Janata Party had received from the Congress during the 2019 general elections, Mr Shah said, "Rahul Baba would say everyday 'mandir wahin banayenge, tithi nahin batayenge (will build a temple there but will not tell you the date)." The BJP has intensified its attack on Rahul Gandhi after Ram Janmabhoomi chief priest Acharya Satyendra Das and Ram Temple Trust secretary Champat Rai appreciated the Wayanad MP's Bharat Jodo Yatra.

The Gandhi-led cross-country foot march, which started from Tamil Nadu on September 7, is currently passing through Haryana.

Indrani Mukerjea Claims 2 Lawyers Spotted "Sheena Bora" In Guwahati

Former media executive Indrani Mukerjea, the prime accused in the murder of her daughter Sheena Bora, on Friday urged a special CBI court to procure CCTV footage of the Guwahati Airport, saying two lawyers had "spotted" a woman resembling Bora this week.

Mukerjea (51), currently out on bail, has made the request to the court in a petition which is supported by affidavits of the lawyers who claimed to have come across a woman looking like Bora on Thursday morning.

The court has directed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to file its response to Mukerjea's plea.

Bora (24) was allegedly strangled to death in a moving car by Mukerjea, her then-driver Shyamvar Rai and former husband Sanjeev Khanna in April 2012, apparently over a monetary dispute, according to the CBI.

Her body was allegedly burnt in a forest in the neighbouring Raigad district.

Bora was Mukerjea's daughter from a previous relationship.

The alleged murder came to light in 2015 after Rai was arrested in another case.

Indrani Mukerjea's husband and former media baron Peter Mukerjea was also arrested in the case for allegedly being a part of the conspiracy. He was granted bail by the Bombay High Court in February 2020, while Indrani Mukerjea got relief in May last year from the Supreme Court.

When The Mammoth Railway Machinery Worked To Locate A Toy Train's Owner

Some bonds are not meant to be broken. Or not just yet. 

All of 19 months, Adnan had already had one such bond with his toy train. He had his first heartbreak – probably — when he lost the toy on a train back home.

But unlike most stories, this was not to end with a sundering.

An Indian Army Havaldar, a fellow passenger, had seen the child's antics with the toy throughout their journey. When he saw that the child had forgotten his toy behind, he took it upon himself to reunite it with him, and in his pursuit, sent the mammoth railway machinery into motion.

On January 3, Vibhutibhushan Pattnaik was travelling in the same coach of the Secunderabad-Agartala Express as were Adnan and his family.

"I saw him play with the toy throughout the journey. In fact, when some technicians of the train hid the toy while playing with him, he started crying loudly. When I saw that he had let the toy behind, I had to do something," Pattnaik told PTI.

After Adnan's family deboarded at Kishanganj, Pattnaik immediately contacted the rail helpline -- 139 - Rail Madad -- and informed them about the toy, hoping that Railways' system would work for the child.

"Usually these helplines are for emergencies and to deal with cases where people have lost important items. However, I was hopeful," said Pattnaik, who did not have much details about Adnan, except his name and that the family of three had boarded the train from Secunderabad.

However, Railways traced the location of the train on January 4, and brought the toy back to the child.

According to an official, locating the contact details was a tough task as the ticket was purchased through the reservation counter in Secunderabad.

A team was put on the task to identify the reservation slip filled before reservation. After a thorough search, the requisition slip was identified, and the contact details were traced.

Names of Adnan's parents were found through a reservation chart and they were identified as Mohit Razaa and Nasreen Begum from Qazi Village of Uttar Dinajpur District, 20 Km away from Aluabari Railway Station. A railway team went to his home and delivered the toy.

"My 19-month-old child had forgotten his favourite toy truck in the train, which was very close to his heart. I had thought nobody would put any effort just for a toy. So I didn't register any complaint even when I was also feeling bad for my child," said Razaa, who was overwhelmed with emotions.

He thanked Pattanaik for showing heart and also the Railway Minister and the rail system for helping the good samaritan to use its resources for a young child.

"I feel happy just thinking that the toy is with Adnan again. I wouldn't have had peace of mind if I had just left it there," said Pattnaik.

केंद्र में सत्ता में आने पर OBC के लाभ के लिए संविधान में संशोधन करेगी कांग्रेस : कमलनाथ

कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता और प्रदेश के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री कमलनाथ ने बृहस्पतिवार को कहा कि अगर उनकी पार्टी केंद्र में सत्ता में आएगी तो अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग (ओबीसी) के लाभ के लिए संविधान में संशोधन करेगी. कमलनाथ के बयान को प्रदेश में विधानसभा चुनाव से पहले ओबीसी समुदाय के बीच अपनी पार्टी की स्थिति मजबूत करने के संदर्भ में देखा जा रहा है. प्रदेश में 2023 के अंत तक विधानसभा चुनाव होने हैं. मध्य प्रदेश कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष ने भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) सरकार पर राज्य में ओबीसी समुदाय को धोखा देने का भी आरोप लगाया.

कमलनाथ ने सतना में अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग के सम्मेलन को संबोधित करते हुये कहा, ‘‘मैं वचन देता हूं कि जब भी हमारी सरकार केंद्र में आएगी, तब हम संविधान संशोधन करके हमारे पिछड़ा वर्ग की सही जनगणना करवाएंगे और पिछड़ा वर्ग को आरक्षण का लाभ सुनिश्चित करवाएंगे.'' प्रदेश के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री कमलनाथ ने कहा, ‘‘जब मध्य प्रदेश में (18 दिसंबर 2018 से 23 मार्च 2020 तक) हमारी सरकार थी तब मैंने ऐसा कौन सा पाप किया था कि मैंने पिछड़ा वर्ग को 27 प्रतिशत आरक्षण दिया. लेकिन, भारतीय जनता पार्टी की नीयत खराब थी. भाजपा ने पिछड़ा वर्ग के साथ छल किया और मामले को अदालत में घसीट दिया.''

अपने मुख्यमंत्री काल की ओर इशारा करते हुए उन्होंने कहा, ‘‘तब 15 साल बाद प्रदेश में कांग्रेस की सरकार बनी थी. जब मैं मुख्यमंत्री था तो हमने अपनी साफ नीयत और नीति का परिचय दिया था.'' उन्होंने कहा, ‘‘वर्ष 2003 से लेकर अब तक भाजपा ने 18 साल शासन किया है. 18 साल में और खासतौर से पिछले 3 साल में आपने (भाजपा) मध्यप्रदेश को दिया क्या? मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने 20,000 घोषणाएं कीं. स्मार्ट सिटी के नाम पर करोड़ों का घोटाला किया. यह स्मार्ट सिटी की नहीं, यह स्मार्ट घोटालों की बात है.''

कमलनाथ ने आरोप लगाया, ‘‘शिवराज सिंह चौहान तो स्वयं कहते हैं कि मैं (चौहान) तो घोषणा मशीन हूं. शिवराज सिंह चौहान घोषणा मशीन तो हैं ही, साथ में झूठ बोलने की भी मशीन हैं. वे अगर दिन भर में झूठ ना बोलें और कमलनाथ की आलोचना ना करें तो उनका खाना हजम नहीं होता.'' उन्होंने कहा कि कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी ने जब ‘‘भारत जोड़ो यात्रा'' शुरू की तो उन्होंने कहा था कि इस यात्रा का कोई राजनीतिक लक्ष्य नहीं है. यह यात्रा तो देश को जोड़ने और देश की संस्कृति को बचाने की यात्रा है. कमलनाथ ने कहा, ‘‘हमने आजादी तो प्राप्त कर ली परंतु जब तक हमारे देश में सही जनगणना नहीं होगी, हमारे पिछड़े वर्ग की सही पहचान नहीं होगी.''

जैसे ही भारतपे के सीईओ सुहेल समीर ने इस्तीफा दिया, अशनीर ग्रोवर ने ट्वीट की एक कविता

भारतपे के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी सुहैल समीर ने सोमवार को अपने पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया. बताया जाता है कि इनका पूर्व में कंपनी से हटे सह-संस्थापक अशनीर ग्रोवर के साथ मतभेद था. अब समीर के इस्तीफे के बाद प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए अशनीर ग्रोवर ने मंगलवार को ट्विटर पर एक कविता के साथ कंपनी पर निशाना साधा. 

ग्रोवर ने फर्म के संस्थापक शाश्वत नाकरानी को फटकार लगाई और उनसे "आदमी बनने और व्यवसाय की देखभाल करने" के लिए तंज भरे लहजे मे आह्वान किया. उन्होंने लिखा, "2023 की शुरुआत के लिए कविता: 'चला गया सुहैल समीर - वह एक नल्ला था! शाश्वत - तुम आदमी क्यों नहीं बनते और गल्ला संभालो ?" साथ ही उन्होंने उन लोगों के लिए कुछ हिंदी शब्दों का अंग्रेजी में किए गए प्रयोग का रुपांतर भी दिया ताकि बात लोगों तक पहुंचे. 1) नल्ला (नालायक) अक्षम / अक्षम है और 2) गल्ला है / बिजनेस.

इस बीच, BharatPe ने वर्तमान मुख्य वित्तीय अधिकारी (CFO) नलिन नेगी को कंपनी का अंतरिम सीईओ नियुक्त किया है, जब तक कि इसके बोर्ड को सुहैल समीर के लिए कोई अलटरनेटिव नहीं मिल जाता, जो पद से हट गए हैं. कंपनी ने एक बयान में कहा कि समीर 7 जनवरी से प्रभावी रूप से सीईओ से रणनीतिक सलाहकार बनेंगे.

कंपनी ने कहा, "यह (समीर के लिए नई भूमिका) वर्तमान सीएफओ, नलिन नेगी के लिए एक सुचारु परिवर्तन सुनिश्चित करेगा. BharatPe ने यह भी कहा कि इसके निदेशक मंडल ने एक प्रमुख फर्म को अगले सीईओ की नियुक्ति के लिए चयन का काम सौंपा है.

Kamal Nath's Big Promise To Backward Classes If Congress Returns To Power

Aiming to consolidate his party's position among the Other Backward Classes ahead of the Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, senior Congress leader and former chief minister Kamal Nath said on Thursday his party would amend the Constitution for the benefit of the OBC community if it returns to power at the Centre.

The Madhya Pradesh Congress president accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government of cheating the OBCs in the state, where polls are due by the end of 2023.

"I promise that whenever our government comes to power at the Centre, it will amend the Constitution to extend the benefit of reservation to the OBC community," Kamal Nath said at an OBC community rally in Satna town.

Sources close to Kamal Nath said such a constitutional amendment will ensure removal of the 50 per cent cap on quota in jobs and education, and uniformity in implementation of 27 per cent reservation for the OBCs in all states.

"When our government was in power in Madhya Pradesh, it had given 27 per cent reservation to the OBCs in the state (up from 14 per cent earlier), but the BJP cheated them (the community) and dragged the matter to court," he alleged.

The Congress leader sought to know what the BJP had given to the people of the state despite being in power for the last 18 years barring the brief period in 2018-20 when his party governed Madhya Pradesh.

Kamal Nath slammed Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, saying he has made more than 20,000 announcements and accused his government of committing a scam in the name of "smart city" project.

He said, "It is not a smart city (project), but a smart scam. Chouhan himself has said he is a machine of making announcements." Kamal Nath said the Constitution framed by Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar is known the world over and many countries adopted similar statute book and warned India's culture was in danger today.

"It was a challenge for him (Dr Ambedkar) to make a Constitution for such a diverse country but he drafted a great Constitution for the nation based on which leaders like Jawaharlal Nehru, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel took the nation forward," said the former Union minister.

"But today India's culture is in danger and you have to decide whether you want to tread the path of Modi (Prime Minister Narendra Modi) or the path shown by the country's culture," he said.

Accusing the BJP of spreading hatred and indulging in divisive politics, he said the country is witnessing a linguistic dispute in Tamil Nadu and pro-Khalistan slogans were raised in Punjab after 35 years.

During his stint as the Chief Minister between December 2018 and March 2020, Nath said his government waived agricultural loans of 27 lakh farmers, provided 100 units of electricity for Rs 100 and raised the pension for the poor.

"But they (BJP) toppled the government by indulging in 'soudebazi' (horse-trading)," he said, referring to the revolt by a section of Congress MLAs loyal to Union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia whose defection to the saffron outfit pulled down the Congress regime.

Talking to reporters earlier, Kamal Nath said his government had allotted Rs 22 crore for developing 'Ram Van Gaman Path' in Chitrakoot (as it is believed Lord Ram resided in this area for most part of his 14-year exile) but the current government has no record of the project.

"This (Satna) area is rich in natural as well as mineral resources but unfortunately industrialisation activities have stopped here. Only cement factories that were established 25-30 years back are existing. No new investment was made here," he said.

Asked about the row over claims of alleged obscene videos of BJP leaders, Kamal Nath said, "When our government was in power, such types of videos and CDs had surfaced but I had directed officials to probe them in a proper manner as I didn't want the state's image to get sullied."

Criticising the ruling party for filing FIRs (first information reports) against Congress MLAs over "trivial" matters, Leader of Opposition Dr Govind Singh recently claimed the Congress was in possession of "obscene CDs and videos of some BJP leaders".

Reacting to the former Chief Minister's comments, Madhya Pradesh home minister and government spokesperson Narottam Mishra said, "It is time for Nath to sit on temple steps and sing devotional songs. Why is he keeping and watching these CDs?"

"The Congress should hand over these CDs to courts, police or a special investigative team (SIT) to probe them. Instead of these CDs, had he (Nath) focused on his MLAs, then his government would have not fallen," Narottam Mishra said.
